"Snapping" From Heavy Drug Use

has anybody "snapped"(gone into manic episodes, become overly aggressive, gone into bizzare semi-crazy episodes, psychosis, etc.) from using too much drugs?

heavy use of stimulants or hallucinogens generally do this, and i have from heavy cocaine use(stayed up for days and became super paranoid and erratic), amphetamine use(same as coke, but not as bad), and from taking too much LSD for too long.

I stay away from stimulants as much as possible. I did however become hypomanic after using piracetam at 25 grams a day for about 2 months. I was still able to keep all my shit together but the aggression almost cost me my job at that time. That's when I realized the piracetam was a problem. I've read similar reports with extreme dosage. I wouldn't say I "snapped" though.

i'm currently high on PCP and can say i'm close to snapping(in a weirdly good way).

Seen & read about too many horror stories to even think about ever taking PCP.

thats 99.9% media anti-drug bullshit. PCP is not that much trippier than ketamine or DXM.

right now i am just sitting around feeling dissociated, listening to music, and feeling good. i'm not out beating up 10 cops and throwing cars at people.

i snapped from W/D of benzos, went into the pharmacy with a kitchen knife, took 30 (empty) propoxyphene pills in front of the pharmacist to get my dose... popo and ambulance came, i then jumped out the window from the first floor of a hospital building to bum a ciggy off someone coz i felt superhuman.... fuuuucked up what those lil pills make u do

It all depends on outside forces, in a really simple way, people can snap due to a stress response.
Drugs enhancing dopamine are notorious for this...
They tend to become impulsive and unstable. And simply crossing paths can trigger rage.

Not a fight for your life rage, but kicking your ass just because it feels good to do so.
I got pissed just because at that moment, being pissed felt fucking amazing.
