SMS Fighting.

tarsalan: couldnt agree more...
my last bill:
calls - 10
sms - 195
ouch.
as a digital media student i should know some profound, scientific shit about the sms phenomenon. umm. sorry, its holidays.

I think SMS is used so much as it's easier to voice your opinion by text than verbally, or in person.
The number one human fear is public speaking, death ranking second.

Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought an idiot than to open it and forever remove all doubt

The main thing I hate about sms is when you send your msg to the wrong person.. damn it for ppl having "common" names. (problem is intensified by smsing while smashed or sketchy)
Sometimes sms is good for in depth conversations. Apart from the bill at the end of it all, sometimes you can get the person's feelings when you would've had to wait weeks or months to hear it from their mouths... But fighting, esp between a couple shouldn't go there. ^V^ I hope stuff is sorted out.. I'll call you when I get my arse in gear.

ive been getting quite a few of the 'wrong person' sms-es lately.
stuff like "where are you? come over" which was sent at 5:07 in the morning... not what i really want to wake up to.
The main problem with these was when i had my Motorolla startac... they dont display who the sms is from, just the phone numner, even if it is in your phone book. so if i got a message from someone i didnt get many from and dint know the number, i had to search through about 120 phone numbers to find out who it was from!!

o yeah one of my mates once got a 'no i dont want to go out with you' message...
followed 5 minutes later by a 'what is your friend (x)'s number?'...
suffice to say he was not happy...

hmmm...another way of faceless contact. I love sms's, but not when used for malice.
While I was in London, a dude got fired, yes FIRED by sms. His boss was so gutless, he fired him by text. Fucken piss weak.
Its the same as email, icq, even telephone. Because you dont see the reaction of the person, its like it doesnt matter. sms fights are for fucking losers...call them up if you have a problem......
