Because you're inhaling the vapor through your nose and it goes to your lungs that's why. I may try snorting a vape hit sometime lol, but vapor can make you cough, still irritating if its hot, unless its a vaporizer bong.
 
lol @ straight to the dome. the nose is sensitive to smoke so i imagine this would be quite uncomfortable and for what, so you can tell others how silly it was to try firsthand?
 
i took a bt with my nose (i smashed my face really tight against my hands and my friend lite it), milked it up pretty fat surprisingly, but when i cleared it and my ears started ringing.

work? i'm sure it did, but i mean i was already ripped off my ass
worth it? hell ya it made for a few sick pictures, but for a few minutes i had thought that i perforated both my ear drums.

my friend had his wisdom teeth pulled and he would put the pipe to his nose. He said it burned like fuck but he didnt want to get dry sockets or rip the stitches.
 
I've never straight hit it through the nose, but whenever there's a roach left I'll hold it under my nose and inhale.

why would you use a vap bong? whats the point of filtering vapor? if you want to cool it, its much more effective to pass it over ice or through a cooling spiral (dont know the official name)
 
damn sometimes i feel "they" are right. stoners are fuckin stupid sometimes

ok cigarette smokers loose their sense of smell pretty quickly, and is usually permanent after enough decades of smoking. the reason for this is the small amount of smoke that escapes through your nose, or if they exhale out through the nose. now think about how little that hurts, then think about how bad inhaling pot smoke through your nose hurts.
for fucks sakes, it hurts for a reason! it is seriously damaging your nasal cavity. im not saying you will loose your sense of smell if you do this once or twice, but no one should be making a habit of this, at all. what happened to harm reduction?!....

ooh and to make matters worse, i wouldnt be surprised if it was stronger, since i bet a small amount of the thc and cannabnoids get absorbed by the blood vessels in the sinuses. not sure at all, but it makes sense.
 
Smoking through your nose will a) absorb some of the stuff you'd want in your lungs b) hurt like hell c) look stupid d) cause long term damage e) not get absorbed by your brain f) is for fail
 
^I believe he was being sarcastic.

I personally would hit somebody if they put my pipe up to their nostril and hit that shit, unless they were a female, but I really don't see a girl doing that.

And besides, I know from personal experience it hurts anyway. :p

I hope that made sense, as I am very, very, very high right now. =D

If you're like me and still live with your bud-bashing parents, smoking through/breathing out the nose can make the difference between getting busted or not. When you smoke through your mouth its easier to get the smell out by eating/drinking etc. however it is much more difficult to rid the sweet smell from your nose.
