smoking through your nose

any difference then smoking through your mouth, dont think there would be but anyone tried this? like just sticking a bowlpiece in your nose and taking the hit that way. haha that sounds ridiculous when i write it out but i still wanna know
 
All I have to say is it burns like fuck. I used to do this with a metal pipe to piss off my friends (had to make a point that I wasnt gonna share my pipe lol) If ur gonna do it, expect a burning sensation
 
Yeah, its not pleasant, BUT- it is fun. Well, to watch. However, I have smoked several bongs through my nose, and wound up with a joint per nostril on more then a few occaisions. Sadly, the laughter was AT not WITH, but I learned.
 
Lol at first I thought you meant blowing smoke through your nose. It would probably be uncomfortable but it would work for sure. Just make sure you blow your nose first... Ew.
 
the smoke goes through the brain then lung :\
imagine how painful that is 8)
not to mention how dirty it is to stick a joint/bong piece through nose

once i did it while really high, first the nose burn then head rush
follow by choking and coughing :|
 
^What do you mean, goes to the brain and then the lungs? Inhaling smoke through your nose is the same as inhaling air, excepts its smoke :D I mean, oxygen you inhale through your nose doesn't bypass your lungs somehow. Its not the same as insufflating something, as then your are ideally getting the substance into the small mucus membraines in the nostrils and sinuses and thus into the bloodstream, bypassing the gut initially.

It doesn;t hurt that much; except sinus tissue is very very sensitive. Its unpleasant to say the least, but one can certainly do dumber things.

Nah....its fucken retarded =D Though semi-fun in a stupid way :) I think it would defintely burn your sinuses and airways, but I guess we smoke pot- as long as you aren't stuffin spliffs up your nose all the time, I imagine you'd be alright,
 
My first response to this thread was "lol wut"

Then I remembered I'd done the same thing after my wisdom teeth came out. Used a bong, with my hand forming a seal between my face and the bong.

no reason to smoke thru your nose unless desperate and cannot draw through your mouth.
 
I snorted vapor from my light bulb vap once. It burned and tickled a little, and I laughed at how stupid I must have looked. 8)
 
We used to do it all the time back in the day just because we didn't want to let any smoke get away without being inhaled in one way or another. You'd take a hit off a j and then inhale the smoke from the burning end up your nose as you passed it.
 
Its called french inhale, you hold the smoke in your mouth for a few and then lift your lower lip outwards and breath in through your nose, you can take the whole hit like this if there's no wind, pretty fun to do. I've never inhaled smoke coming out of the blunt/bowl like that though. Maybe I'll try snorting the smoke rising off the bowl after its been hit, I've done this by breathing in over top of a bowl before. Uncooled smoke would be too hot/harsh for your nose. Make sure your nose is clear though, usually its easier to take a hit through the nose, seems less harsh.
