Smoking Temazepam??

^^^No, my mom and pops did it.
What I described is not on wiki, I know it just says smoking.
My mom said that they were these yellow football shaped gels.
 
Jellies/Eggs were withdrawn in the UK and much of Europe (and probably the rest of the world) cos so many people were losing limbs from shooting the gel. Never heard of anyone smoking it but they were big news in IV world for a while and folks will get experimental (especially when down to their last limb) so I'm sure someone somewhere probably tried smoking it. And they were probably a bit disappointed.
 
geez smoking benzos? Are you guys serious? The oral BA is so high, and smoking pills in general is just retarded. For fucks sake you are smoking a pill!
 
It's a gel dude.

I know people smoking fentanyl, and that can come in a gel.
So, I wouldn't be too judgmental.
Plus, you were not trying to get high just off of the temazepam alone.

I'm pretty sure it was meant to make a really smooth weed high when mixed.
Also to consider, things were a lot more available back then too, and probably cheaper.

As my mom doesn't like discussing her prior drug use. (A.K.A. The 80's)
She would not go into details.

We're not actually considering doing it nor has anyone tried here, purely speculating on whether the "smoked" on the routes of administration bit of Wiki was poor, misinformed information or had some truth to it.

PJ - That's interesting that yer folks used to do that. Bet it was horrible for their lungs... No more so than a ciggy though I suppose lol...

I'm thinking that the gel was pretty gross to smoke on anything other than something else to take your mind off of it.

But my mom has intrigued me to try light bulb meth piping a dose of phenaz.

I wonder how that would go?
 
Reading the mountain of responses here would only sum up what I can tell you in these 4 magical words: DO NOT SMOKE PILLS
 
I still have those 10 mg Gellies and might try vaporing a small amount of a gelcap just for testing purposes, someone has to be the guinea pig hmmm? =D

OFC I'm not going the IV/IM way but one little toke of vape couldn't hurt IMO 8)

damn, monstanoodle, you've been here even longer than me; why would you post this question on bluelight? you must have known the answer you were going to get: "don't smoke pills." and you are not a chemist; don't fuck with wikipedia's article about temazepam. that's exactly why it is unreliable.

Edit:never mind about being here longer than me. can't believe how long i have been a member here. still, you've been here long enough to know the standard "can i smoke this pill?" answer.

For every time I see the you can't smoke pills, I laugh as I know people who do it.
Like I will always say, it may not be smart, but it can be done.
 
delta 9, i am a daily benzo user and wouldn't consider anything but putting those motherfuckers under my tongue or swallowing with a beer, but try getting drunk and then doing a line of halcion. kicks in faster than real coke. no stimulant or opiate-esque rush obviously, but it is novel enough to try once or twice.

and don't forget about valium and ativan ampules.

I'm not considering it, I didn't say anything about smoking pills. If I were to ever attempt this (which I won't be doing) it would be with pure powder (which I won't ever get).
It's not going to happen, so calm your passion fruit! lol

Again, I asked the question as I was dumb-founded by the sight of this as an ROA on Wiki. And if it's incorrect, yes, I'd like it changed. Is that such a bad thing? Stopping other people smoking Temazepam? Maybe so 8)

Anyway, I don't know why this thread was brought up again...

the reason i said that is because you knew the answer you were gonna get on bluelight, irrelevant to whether it is possible or not. i have very little concern for what you do or do not smoke.

and yes, changing it is a bad thing, as the basis of you knowledge is bluelight posts. leave it to a chemist. are you going to list this thread as the source? haha, maybe bpayne's post specifically? PhDs and MDs actually edit wiki, and if you don't mess with articles unless you are an expert in the field then wiki will be much better.
