Smoking Smell

Yeah this has been asked a thousand times before I get that.

There are a thousand and one methods on how you can reduce the smell. I've been using a toilet paper roll with some sheets with a lot of detergent that smells like a bb&b stuffed inside on one end, I just exhale into them and it smells like laundry. Works pretty well but still, I smoke on a reg basis, it still ends up smelling strong. Strong enough that I can smell it right outside my door, not like it's really intense but it's enough to notice if you sniff. It's medical stuff, yeah I know I can vape it or bake it, but I've tried both and smoking is a LOT better for me, vaporizers are expensive and eating it is too variable, takes too long to hit me.

Legality isn't the issue here, I have my card and my recommendation so I'm good, and I do have legit medical uses for it. Still I don't really want everyone that comes to my apt knowing I smoke, or people around me knowing I do. Live in a small minded conservative town, bunch of mormons too lol.

So I'm looking for the method that you've found works best, instead of sifting through everything on the net and trying them all, thanks.
 
Get one of those window fans and turn it from fresh air to exhaust. If it doesn't have that option simply turn it around. Smoke next to it and it will blow your lot out the window.
 
ozium works great, but nothing compares to the smoke reducing powers of Orange Chronic

citrus has a great skunk dispersing effect, thats why I always roll with Orange Chronic.
 
Nearest window to where I usually smoke isn't close enough, would be cool to see if I could run while I held my hit in to the fan though. I like oranges, and it's not aerosol like ozium or something so that's even better. I've tried the air fresheners before though, never seems to be enough to cover it up though. Could give it another shot with my sploof (forgot what they were called).
 
This is the BEST solution to get rid of weed smell or any smell for that matter

If you use ACTIVATED CARBON in the device you create, you can literally eliminate smells, not mask them with ozone or Febreez. When particles of scent hit the activated carbon, they literally drop to the ground, eliminating the scent.

People generally use these homemade activated carbon devices when they are growing weed and their whole apartment smells bad. There are professionally made devices you can get for around $3-400. But for less than $10 you can make something simple like a spoof, or for around $40 you can make a bucket fan that will keep your whole floor smelling great.

Theres a few simple things you can make

1. Activated carbon desk fan. Buy an activated carbon fireplace filter, the kind that slides in. tape it to the back of a fan, viola, now when the air passes through it will be filtered.

2. A spoof. this is the easiest, you take a toiler paper roll, close off the end using pantyhose, fill it with activated carbon from the fish store, close off the other end, now blow your hits through there and the smell will come ou twithou a scent

3. Pancake 5 gallon activated carbon fan. This is the best most effective method to keep the room smelling fresh. Buy a 5 gallon bucket, and a pancake (circular) fan that will fit inside the bucket. Drill small holes all the way around teh bottom of the side of the bucket to allow for air flow but that will not let peices of activated carbon fall out, or you can use some kind of a screen and make bigger holes. Fill the bucket about 1;3 with activated carbon, put the pancake fan where the cap would go on the bucket so it is pulling air through the bottom of the bucket adn blowing it out the top.

This will not only get rid of weed smells, but even the smell of kitty litter! My mom even commented how much better my house smelled. These things are great for people with allergies and shit.

Smoke outside? I guess not everyone has a 2nd story enclosed porch. The main reason I bought the house hahaha.

Hmm that's really useful info man, thanks. It's really dusty here, especially in the summer, gets in my eyes, gives me a runny nose, phlegm in my throat, annoying stuff like that. I do have that allergies and there's more smells than just weed going on here lol, I'll look into that 3rd method. Ty.

Vaporizers feels different to me. I feel so stoned I can't move, and I feel a bit like a zombie. Wasn't my weed I tried, and it might be good to try again because I only did it once, always liked smoking though. And I'm not too worried about my lungs, I'm not smoking 10 joints a day, I'll probably have a bit decreased lung capacity later on in life but that's about it.

LOL 2 stories! Lucky :P. Mildly decent houses here cost upwards of a million, where I live isn't too terrible, it's not a house but it's not a dump. I do have a little balcony but it's really cramped and there are wayy too many cobwebs out there. And it's facing the street, I'm paranoid about everything, stoned or not, so I don't trust smoking out there haha.
 
febreeze works pretty well. incense is also another good option if its not too suspicious to have that floating around. one time i made a vaporizer out of an old light bulb and a straw. that produced virtually no smell at all. although its kind of a pain to create the thing
