Stimulants Smoking shards seems to make me sleepy, is that normal?

I sometimes get really relaxed after a shot or a hit. I mean, I get the initial rush but it fades off into a relaxed-awake-good feeling. I love it!
 
I personally nod out on adderall/d-amp which I know isn't the same thing, but Ive seen this happen with meth users a lot. 20-30 minutes of stimulation, then they fall out like they did some smack.
