smoking Psycotria viridis or Mimosa hostilis?

ok...i know that DMT is not orally active unless ingested with an MAOI...however it is active when smoked...would it be possible to smoke the leaves of Psycotria viridis or Mimosa hostilis bark to get the desired effect or is there insufficient amounts of DMT in the plant matter to consider this an efficient way of achieving the desired effect?
 
i think you answered your own question, but don't quote me on that. i've heard several peeps say the extract worked so why not do that.
 
ok...so how much of the stuff would i actually have to smoke in order to get some effects...an ounce? a pound?? a kilo???
 
I'm not positive, but I'd say, given oral dosages, that you'd have to smoke A LOT more than you're lungs would like.

well i've heard that people do extract DMT from Mimosa root bark and Phalaris grass...dunno bout P. viridis though...but i'm pretty sure it's possible...
 
By my calculations (WHICH ARE OF COURSE ONLY AN OPINION) there would be approximately 30mg of DMT contained in 5.26 grams of mimosa hostillis.
So if you can smoke nearly a quarter ounce of the stuff in one or two tokes....then it MIGHT be possible (In my opinion)
