Smoking Pot And Protein Shakes. Good Combo?

protien shakes should really be taken with food or something ....

because that much protein by itself isnt good on the digestive system on an empty tummy

We didn't always have salad bars and shit, back in the day you had to kill animals and eat them to survive, and there was no refrigeration so if you killed a big animal you were damn-well gunna eat that sucker-- excess protein be damned.

while other branches of the homo- genus may have been able to eat as much red meat as they wanted without adverse side effects it doesn't mean that the recently evolved sapiens could, in fact there is decent evidence to suggest that our primary diet was originally seafood, although being omnivores our diets are supposed to contain a wide variety of nutrients, hell, it was probably the fact that we were omnivores and capable of rapid adaption to new food groups that allowed us to evolve into the highly intelligent beings we are today (for the most part)

and even if we were originally adapted to eating high protein diets that doesn't mean that we evolved (or devolved depending on which you prefer) to suit our current diet, our appendix wasn't always useless you know
 
mmm, sorry if the appendix comment doesn't make sense, I didn't mean that it had anything to do with protein regulation, I just meant that our bodies evolve over time, even if its not in our best interests

No, I refuted your argument with the results of a 2005 study published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. That other stuff was just thrown in for effect. :D

drink it slowly, on a full stomach, and with plenty of water.

i love protein shakes. they're good for bulking, but mostly they're just a shit-load easier than eating chicken breasts and eggs all day.

dude, it's not the pot. I noticed the same thing. I use protein shakes all day, especially after the gym, along with plenty of other supps like creatine. If I smoke weed, I gotta shit... and if I don't smoke weed, I gotta shit.

If you use tobacco when you smoke weed.... that's another story.

What happens if you mix tobacco with weed? Can smoking joints with both marijuana and tobacco while taking protein shakes harm you in any ways?
 
Tabacco certainly can harm you in many ways. Taking the two together do not increase the odds of any harm however, but it will certainly increase your odds of getting the worst shits ever.
