Smoking opium as a tolerant user.

Dboy: I've smoked a range of types of opium over the years. It's always been reddish brown and glassy. Some has been more potent than others, for sure. The stuff I've had in the last few months came directly from Iran and was extremely high quality.

I love opium - other than heroin it's hands down my favourite form of poppy product. The high is just very different to to other more processed street and pharmaceutical versions that it's hard to compare, in my opinion. I find it almost psychedelic in a funny kinda way. But as far as potency goes I'd say it pales in comparison to a great many of it's products.

I have made my own from opium once or twice but it wasn't so great cos I'm not so great at such things unfortunately. An acre of poppy is just pure droolworthy you lucky fella, you :D

Last time I smoked good glass opium, I nodded out and fell to sleep with my pipe on my chest, and I was/am a heavy user of pharmaceutical opioids. It was great.

If it is that low-grade black gummy stuff (not heroin), you are better off ingesting it.
 
I had to eat a shitload of opium to stop the withdrawal from a 400(some days 600) milligram per day IV morphine habit.like a huge amount.it helped.but I wasn't high really.High with relief maybe.like others have already stated,opium wont really help if you have a obscene tolerance like mine and many others here.Its better then codeine though.

Op:are you trying to ward off withdrawal,or is this simply recreational?If you do 320 milligrams in a sitting,I take it you're physically dependent.An OC 80 is enough for me to keep w/d away and function for work.Though I'd have to IV 2-3 for somewhat of a high.
 
I smoke Opium once a year,or I am able to get opium once a year from family who bring it to the US from Vancouver.B.C. and it is usually SEA opium although I think last year it was Afghani Opium and was not as good really ,but got the job done.I love the Amber Opium as they call it from SEA,it is like the "glass" opium described above and is orangeish ,yellowsih or reddish brown or a mix of these colors and is much stronger than the black opium I smoked from other countries.When I was in Eygypt they had some good black opium,also in Vietnam a few years back there was some super potent SEA "glasslike" opium that 3 hits had me nodding...wish I could visit these places or some place again that has Opium growing and readily available....lol..smoked some Opium in Mexico about 10 years ago and it was in a poppy growing area,and it was shit compared to the SEA and african,Asian opium,and it wasn't black tar heroin either, lol...it was raw from the poppy and dried while I was there..Blahh nasty weak shit..
