hey man,
carefull putting those yummy little shrooms in your spliff. Any effect your getting from that is most likely placebo. I dont believe smokeing shrooms works. The chemicals in question are relatively sensitive to heat.

sounds like one hell of a splifta me =[]

as far as smoking shrooms goes I have smoked quite a few and most people I have given to have agreed that they work.I realise that heat possibly destroys some of the active chems but probly not all.The high is very much a short one but definately lifts you higher than straight weed,from what I have read shrooms contains forms of dmt and you smoke dmt...also the amanita muscaria (fly agarics) work well as a smoke too8(

Agree with "Offmetree" Smoking Anamita muscaria works very well but doesn't seem to last as long. Have not had much sucess smoking P. Cubensis or C.cyanescens.

I'm about to try smoking P. subaeruginosa People say this has an excellent high when smoked.
 
Well, what a little controversy we have here =D , I have personaly smoked Anamita muscaria and agrea that it appears to be active via smoking. Hints to those wishing to smoke anamita -Peal the mushrooms red and white skin off
-Dry skin and roll a big doob with it
-BE CAREFULL anamita are full of NASTY chemicals and CAN KILL if not treated with respect

I have friends that belive a good way of kicking a mushroom trip in is by smoking a Psilocybe. Personal I was not speeking from experience, I find the subs here in victoria to be WAY strong without smoking any extra.
 
Alternate Chemical Names

Psilocybin - O-phosphoryl-4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine
Psilocin - 4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine

i stand corrected.

one alternate explanation i've thought of is although the above chemicals get destroyed by heat, maybe they break down into another DMT style chemical, or something else with hallucinogenic properties... any pharmacists in here got ideas?
