Smoking K???

I was at Music Midtown Atlanta last weekend and met a guy there who seemed to not know what he was talking about when it came to drugs. Anyhow, he was talking about how much he loves K, and how snorting it won't do much for him, but smoking will "shoot you to the moon". I was under the impression you can't smoke K, but I've never done it so I really wouldn't know. Can someone tell me if this guy was just full of shit, or K is smokeable and that much more hard-hitting that way? Thanks! :)
 
its a waste of k, from my reading seems disgusting as well...bad taste/smell
