This is the only thing I disagree with. Purely because, if you were to use a rolled up piece of paper or a post-it, you can flatten it out and scrape the remaining left overs up and smoke them on some foil And it's usually quite powerful stuff, in the same way that scraping crack residue is.

ok smoking tar definitely stinks...they might not know what the smell is though. Ive had times when i took one big hit blew it at the window and then my friend came in ten minutes later and said GOD DAMN IT SMELLS LIKE DOPE IN HERE. be careful

Would one of those lightbulb vaporizers work like for weed?

It would work but it's more difficult to control the temperature due to the "thick" glass (compared to foil) retains heat so it will be constant for a while afterwards (and if that's hot, it will burn up your dope for a long time). As soon as you take the heat off foil, the temperature drops back to room temp in a matter of milliseconds. So this is ideal for smoking H.

or you can get a paperclip and scrape out the residue with that on a rainy afternoon when your dealer is busy having a picnic with his mom.

dont even trip about the smell. if you were sitting next to your dad and he was blind, he wouldnt know anything was up. ive smoked in the back of my moms car while she was driving to tahoe smokin up a storm with the window slightly cracked and she didnt even know. its one of the beatiful parts of smoking tar haha

Really? Never had tar but it must be very different stuff to European heroin (we get freebase, I believe) cos it fuckin' reeks :D

Only way I know of to get more bang for yer buck from smoking heroin is practice. I don't lose much

Also, do people really use paper/plastic tubes? I couldn't stand the waste - especially paper - tinfoil tooters all the way. The best tokes are always in the toot

Finally someone mentions a tin foil tooter! What a set of donuts! Firstly put the whole bag on the foil (make sure it aint the shiny side and dont use bacofoil) this saves wastage. Make a foil tooter with the matt side inwards (there is a technique to this but none of you deserve to hear it) because when your bag finishes there is a cheeky bit of residue left in the tooter to smoke! Happy days! I haven't smoked in 3 weeks, very keen to soon though!

Even if you make a device for inhaling the smoke more efficiently, the smoke vapors that manage to "get away" from your "tooter" when your smoking is not the most wastefull aspect of smoking brown. The worst part is when you actually heat it up on the foil and ALOT of the opiate alkaloids burn away to a crisp and become nothing you can get high off of(allthough you still may inhale them)...people dont realize this alot of the time. Just because you have a good technique or whatever doesnt mean your going to stop the fact that heroin really isnt meant to be smoked(atleast efficiently), so when you do it, your not only doing serious harm to your lungs, but you are burning the alkaloids before they even get a chance to get you high. You probably waste atleast a third of the heroin just by burning it, and then who knows how much more you lose out on once it gets into your body because of the BA. Thats why snorting, IV'ing, and plugging, are more effective ROA's.

ive always got great effects from smoking my dope here in vancouver.....i smoked dope for 3 years to......lately im 50 50 with iv and smoking...

and a glass hooter is best imo, it cakes with resin and good stuff..... you can then take a propane torch to the hooter, and smoke away...... good for keeping you not sick....

I don't chase when I smoke it. I usually cut the bottom off a bottled water. Put the tar on foil, then put the flat piece of a foil over the opening I just cut. And crunch it around the edges so it seals and punch 2 needle holes in it. Sort of like a home-made vaporizer. This way I just take the cap off and inhale from the top of the bottle. So its impossible to lose smoke. This works well if you do it to smoke only small chunks. If you have a big chunk you wanna chase it so it doesn't turn into a burnt mess in one spot.

I quit smoking cheeba though. I think its a waste. I'm a snorter/slammer now.

For me when i used to do it, clean now but rolling the foil like the guy with the paper plane version with the dull side on the inside of the foil but making it so you have a tid that looks like an inverted v, then when you smoke loads of the tar collects up the tube giving you an extra few smokes and if you use 3-4 bags on it you get shit loads back.
Gotta be thrifty.
That is the u.k stuff though, you yanks get various stuff.

Smoking black tar on foil? YUCK.. and what a waste..

The way we do it here in LA is as follows...

Take 2 paper clips. Open both paper clips about midway.. put a bit of your tar on the first paper clip.. if you have trouble getting the tar to stick heat the paperclip for about 2 seconds then put the tar on it and it will stick right away. heat up the top end of the second paper clip (about an inch at the top) with a lighter until it is burning/red (takes about 7 seconds) then rub the heated paperclip onto the paperclip holding the heroin and use a tooter to suck in the smoke..

It is actually pretty standard practice out here.. if you told someone you were going to smoke H on tin foil they would look at you like you have 3 eyes.

You save a grip of H this way and get super high.

try it out.. You wont ever go to the tin foil method, ever again.
