was wondering a few things. i am a current drug user, not of heroin. Had a couple of questions about it.

1. If you use first time just smoking heroin will you come down with withdrawals / dope sickness?

2. <snip - No drug testing questions - please see Guidelines in my sig>

3. The drugs im currently using i can walk away at any time not addicted, so would smoking heroin instantly make me addicted and wanting more?

Not interested at all in injection so please you can save your typing and telling me to not even mess with smoking it and going straight to the needle. Thanks ahead of time for any and all info.

Depending on how much you smoked you'd come down with dope sickness especially if you're not that familiar with opiates.
It will stay in your system for about 2 - 5 days.
You wouldn't be instantly addicted but with more frequent use which is common you would be more likely to become addicted.

If you're worried about addiction then just don't know it. I'll warn you now, if you try it and decide it wasn't that great then don't try it again in the hope that it might be better. This is how some people end up getting addicted.

If you mean literally smoking it for only one day and you are not currently physically dependent on any other opioids then no you will not get withdrawals after just one day of smoking heroin.

Totally depends on the person. Most people don't get addicted right away, in fact that is a big part of what makes heroin so insidious, people try it and don't feel addicted right away and then they mistakenly think they can use it without getting addicted. Heroin addiction usually builds gradually over time. Some people really like it right off the bat but think they can use just once a week (or whatever) and that they will simply avoid addiction by controlling how often they use (yeah right, that's what everyone thinks). Some people try it and think, "What's the big deal? That wasn't very impressive. I'm going to have to try it a few more times to see what all the fuss is about" (or "I just want a really good high once, then I'll stop"). Then they grow a taste for it and start using it more and more often. Addiction is not something you can predict or control.

Using one time will not make ya get dope sick. You gotta be physically addicted to get withdraws. Also using one time won't get ya addicted. Unless you really like it and continue using then you'll be hooked before ya even realize it.
