Opioids Smoking Codeine/promethazine syrup?

I was wondering if perhaps there were some way to evaporate the syrup and be left with a pure cod/prometh salt that you could like snort or smoke?
I take it recreationally when i have it but 5 oz for a nod is alot and if you smoked it theoretically shouldnt it take less to get you there?

Like what if i put it in the microwave for a minute or to.
Ive heard of people lacing their blunts and shit with it, but its really hard to hit a wet blunt laced with this beleive me...it lasts a good 45 minutes tho lol.
So what do you guys think could you smoke or snort this shit???

Dont try to lace your blunts with cough syrup, honestly are people really that silly?

Dont try to take your codeine via this method. Just drink it like usual it's the best way to use the form of codeine you have.

Yeah man i no that lacing blunts with it is stupid because it doesent fucking work ive tried it cuz people have told me they got really fucked up doing it

Codeine is a prodrug. That means it isn't active on its own and requires conversions to morphine and codeine-6-glucuronide in the liver. Taking it by any means other than oral is going to be less effective as you bypass first pass metabolism (first pass metabolism being that all substances absorbed from the GI tract travel through the liver before entering systemic circulation).

Furthermore direct administration of codeine to the bloodstream by IV can cause an acute and severe histamine reaction resulting in fluid in the lungs.
