I'm not sure why it's so enjoyable to me. It could be the fact that it used to be a weed pipe and was used quite often and i've loaned it out to people numerous times so theree's been plenty of weed smoked through it. It does however have a distinct weed taste to the tobacco, but i'm assuming it's from the resin.

I also heard that you're not supposed to inhale pipe tobacco. It was that, or cigars. I don't remember But If I could have one ove you smoke a bowl of tobacco from this pipe, you'd probably find it enjoyable. Other pipes, it tastes like shit to me, but the pipe I use, it's just amazing! It does get stinky, so after about 4 or so days, I scrape the residue until you can mostly see just the wood in the bowl.

Also, does anybody know how to deep clean a wooden pipe? Like, rid the smell completely? The thing can be smelt a mile away.

There really isn't much you can do to destinkify a wooden pipe. I'm sure there's a couple solutions out there that could reduce it a little bit, but with wood being a porous material and all it does a pretty good job of absorbing and holding odors. Even glass or metal pipes used for smoking marijuana retain a bit of a resiny stink after a thorough cleaning with alcohol and boiling water, so I doubt there is much you can do with a wood pipe.

That's a shame that it can't be de-stinkafied. Love the pipe, but sometimes i'll smoke weed out of it and it has a funny flavor. Shitty actually.

Since I'm out of papers I threw some of my rolling tobacco in my cherry wood pipe, and it wasn't too bad (but it has been well flavored by all the nice pipe tobacco I've put in it, so that probably affected the results quite a bit). I guess I could throw it in my meerschaum pipe for more accurate results...

I don't smoke tobacco on it's own in pipes, however I've smoked it with weed in bongs a good few times. Being from the UK, we mostly roll spliffs (weed/tobacco combination joints) rather than regular joints, and when out and about and wanting a bong hit, we simply take a bottle of mineral water, drink it until there's just enough for bong water, melt two holes with a lighter and use a spliff as the stem, resulting in weed+tobacco hits. It hits you hard and makes you sit down pretty fast, and I can't imagine it's very good for you, but despite not being the biggest fan of tobacco I do quite enjoy this mix.

Also here in Poland people occasionally mix their bong hits with tobacco. It's much cleaner than a spliff in the side of a bottle, and quite enjoyable, plus it makes the bowl last a little longer and stay burning.

Weed alone is still nicer though.

I've smoked spliffs before and I didn't mind that, but when I was smoking close to the end I put it in my bowl and tried smoking it and it definitely wasn't as pleasant as the spliff was, so I never tried it again and I don't think I ever would, to be honest. If I'm going to smoke tobacco I have a cigarette and that's the extent of that.

There are tobaccos specifically designed for smoking in a pipe, try those.
You can get them from any decent tobacco shop. Cigarette tobacco is some of the worst tobacco out there.
