Smoking and codeine

Does smoking reduce the effects of codeine?
Because when I recently have 150mg I didn't feel anything after I smoked...

Cigarettes or weed?

I find for weed it potentiates the buzz. As for normal smoking that doesn't seem to effect the high however it can cause nausea.

Do you have any tolerance to codeine because it's a low dose and tolerance builds quickly which may be the problem.

Usually weed ways potenates but once i took 30 mgs of hydro without a tolerance that should have gotten me super high but i smoked so much weed it felt like the weed actually overpowered the opiate. Which is actually pretty crazy considering it takes alot with my tolerance
