Smoking Alone?

it is really good when you have a stoner buddy. because you get so used to each other and what you do when you're stoned that it is like your alone... or atleast you can do your own thing but share it with that person.
i enjoy smoking alone... but i do like some variety. i love being stoned in places you're not supposed to be stoned in... because you have this private little joke with yourself all the time.
when you smoke alone you can really just let your mind go wherever you want it to.. you don't have to function properlly if you don't want to...
 
Depends on what I'm doing. Like diegoblunt said, I've choofed for long enough that the novelty of getting together with mates for a romper sesh is no longer interesting.

However, if I don't have anything better to do, or I'm at home bored off my tits, I'll get together with the lads for a choof :)
 
Man, I smoke so much that I dont really have a preference. I generally smoke about 10-15 times a day. 6-8 tend to be alone. The rest Im with my friends.

Ive actually spent an entire night smoking with my friends, went home, and then smoked by myself before going to sleep. Now thats dedication.
 
i really dont say a word when i get stoned, just sit there and chill, and its more fun to smoke alone sometimes
 
Honestly, 85% of the time i get high, i do it alone.
not that i dont like smoking with other people, but you never know how people will act, ive hung with people who act so stupid, and you know that gets oLLLD
 
Maybe once a week I smoke with friends but otherwise every night I go alone. It's fun, and I enjoy it... I dont have any anxiety probs either way (bar one time a couple weeks back) so its cool
 
I LOVE smoking by myself.

I almost equally enjoy getting high with my friends, but you know, there's that certain serenity and calm when you're getting high alone. You don't have to worry about anyone else around, don't have to deal with the "situation" when you're out and about with friends.

I can sit there on my bed, puffing a bowl at my OWN pace, in my boxers, thinking to myself while listening to some good music, "God, I live life right now."

Theres nothing better than getting home after a hard day's work, rolling up a fat joint and just chilling on your own. Loving that right now lol.
 
id much rather smoke with other people. its more fun. if i smoke by myself i just sit there and watch tv/listen to music and go on the computer for like 5 hours. and plus when i smoke with other people i laugh more because they laugh too. also when i smoke alone i tend to think about my self too much and spend the entire time thinking about how to improve myself and then i think about how im wasting my life by smoking weed. ha
 
To be quite honest, I prefer both smoking alone and smoking with friends in different situations.

Smoking alone: I have anxiety disorder pretty badly. I've been seeing a therapist about once a month for the past two years. Weed helps me calm down better than most any benzo, SSRI, or cognitive behavior therapy session does. I probably should pick up a medical recommendation, but I don't know if it's worth the hassle an (unlikely) conflicts with federal law. On those days where I feel just overwhelmed, I never hesitate to pack a bowl or roll a joint and let go. Also, being stoned alone gives me a more introspective high. I have a chance to get absorbed into music and just think about life.

Smoking with friends: Makes any situation entertaining. On those days when I'm hanging out with my friends with nothing to do, "Hey guys, wanna go smoke a bowl?" is usually one of the most common phrases mentioned.
 
i smoke all day every day and i don't have any friends anymore so it's smoke by myself or not at all.
 
i smoke with mates about 95% of the time. Rest of the time is by myself and i do enjoy both ways. I guess its cause me and my mates rarely all have weed at the same time, so seen as we share our weed with each other, we get stoned more often if we shout each other seshs.

I do like getting stoned by myself though, its alot different in my opinion, not neccasarily better or worse than getting stoned with my mates though. It's just alot more quiet when im by myself, which generally makes me more relaxed.
 
Back when I used to smoke 90% of the time I smoked alone since I enjoyed it more, at one point most of my friends didn't smoke, and I preferred it because I could do whatever I wanted to and not have anyone tell me not to play that music, take a shower, watch that movie/porn, or play that video/computer game.
 
I've heard from people that try to make the case to legalize weed that they never smoke alone, I suppose to get away from that "addict" stigma.

That's BS tho.

A lot of times, when I'm at a party or something, I bring weed. And usually when I do I run into the newbies. And they turn into the hazard-types, puking, being sketchy, just ruining it. And making me look bad.

Priest is spot on, when I get high I want to do whatever. Listen to my music (not someone else's). Watch a movie. Go for a walk. Roll another one or smoke a bowl.
And not have to screw around with having to deal with other people.

I've liked smoking a lot with other people who smoke on a regular basis, but that's about it.

Nothing wrong with smoking alone!
 
I prefer smoking by my lonesome much moreso than with other people. For me, a main thing is that even if I'm with 1 other person, no matter how good of a friend they are, I cannot get to the level that I want. When I'm by myself, about 5 quality hits and I'm good. If I'm with other people, I can smoke bowl after bowl and while I'll probably get 'higher', mentally it's just not the same.

Then again, perhaps that's just me. Seriously, I can get stoned off my ass at least more than a few times off a few grams. When I say that, people just tell me "dude, you're a pussy, you don't get high enough. I smoke at least a few grams a session by myself." Oh well, they're problem (sorry for the useless rant). *Edit*: Also take into consideration I smoke at most once a week. The past few I've smoked 2-3 times, but I'm trying not to fall back in that regiment.
 
Half and half for me.

If I want to have a really fun time and laugh a lot I'll smoke with other people.

If I want to just chill and relax and enjoy life I'll smoke alone. :)
 
i finally quit after 9 years smoking everyday...
i guess it depends on who im smoking with as to whether or not i enjoy solo or with company. if my friends are smoking at the rate i like (i.e. not holding the pipe, blunt too long before passing) and dont smoke back to back to back wasting the green, id prolly rather do it with my friends.
but solo is awesome sometimes so i can listen to/watch whatever I want to.
 
Smoking alone is the only thing that keeps me going. It gives me a chance to look at whats going on around me with out having to leave my house.

Also one reason people like to smoke with friends is entertainment reasons, generations before us had to leave the house to get it, but with technology these days I have all the entertainment I need just a remote controll click away.
