Smoking Alone?

I smoke alone every day. I smoke with other people mostly on weekends, sometimes on weekdays. Although I smoke alone all the time, I wouldn't say that I prefer it. If I am in good company (like old friends that I haven't been able to see for a while) then there is nothing better than sparking up a bowl. I don't prefer smoking with friends either though. I just think they have different things to offer. Namely that smoking alone can be very relaxing, carefree, and introspective. Smoking with other people can be incredibly funny and entertaining, but probably not introspective.
 
i blaze every day.

i do love to smoke by myself, and i do it on slow days when nothing is going on. or before i go to bed. blaze a little, eat some breakfast (for the next morning), and crash. smoking by yourself just eliminates so much stress, and allows you to fully enjoy the pot high.

all of the smoking of bigger amounts i do is with groups of people though, but never more than 5 or 6 friends, and usually fewer. huge groups just = less bud for me.


i think it's pretty taboo for a lot of people. others see blazing alone as sad, or that you somehow have more of an addiction if you're doing it alone. they just done realize how different the high is, and how much better it can be.
 
It depends on the amount I have, and if I have a reason to smoke. If it's a casual, geeky smoke, I love to pass the bong with friends. It's good to share, as long as they aren't bogarts. If I want to reflect on things, or I just had a really long day, I love to smoke alone. It seems that when you smoke alone that your high lasts longer, and you can just roam the depths of your mind without any of your friends interrupting it by chuckling or trying to explain the anatomy of a coathanger. Either way is awesome for me, but it's a 60/40 thing for me. 60 with friends, 40 with myself.
 
Cant stand smoking with other people, I really dont enjoy it at all, just makes me paranoid. I love just smoking on my own in my room in the middle of the day and late at night to help me sleep.
 
I guess I prefer either alone or with my bf. We are 100% comfortable smoking together since we live together and both smoke more than anyone else we know. =D

One annoying thing about smoking with other people is that because most people I've smoked with don't smoke nearly as much and they get too fucked up if I'm packin. Its lame when people get so fucked up that they feel the need to talk about it the whole session.8(
 
I smoke alone at once everyday. And i usually smoke with people four times a week. I like to smoke alone so i can just chill and dont care about nothing. Just lie back turn on the stero and chill
 
i prefer smoking alone. i think its prob cos im more introverted by nature.
my elder bro is a total extravert, by that i mean he hates being alone and loves being with friends more, so he would always smoke with friends. (hes quit now tho)
but yeah sometimes if i feel like socialising its good to smoke with my trusted stoner buddy.
you get different things out of smoking alone vs with others.
and i just love chilling in my trippy room, with a notepad handy for any ideas i want to write down.
im more comfortable with myself than with others, in general. there arent that many ppl id want to smoke with, because i dont trust many people.
 
I probably smoke about 95% of my joints alone because I prefer spacing out before putting up with peoples bullshit and games. I'll blaze up in my room and listen to some beats and then nothing can harm me.

Conversation is way too difficult stoned, no-one can understand what I'm trying to say, so i shut up and smoke.

Mary Jane and Music is all you need. and some love, then you're away.
 
i love smoking alone.

about 1/2 my friends smoke, so i'll smoke with them whenever we're out or whatever, but i'll still smoke a bowl or two to myself once i get home. most of the time when i'm out though, i'm usually drinking instead.

but like has been said here before, there is nothing better than getting high by yourself and just chilling, listening to music, and thinking.
 
I smoke up with friends everyday and I smoke up by my self when ever Im bored at home. I used to smoke a bowl by myself before school, but now i usually do it alone at night. It's so relaxing to just chill out and listen to some tunes and not have to worry about other people.

I think this is a double edge sword. Even though I agree that it IS much better, I do think is shows more of an addiction in the technical sense... I mean I love smoking alone... but that's cuz I'm mad addicted to weed and I love it in any situation, and given my introverted nature, it is the best when I smoke alone. I just don't see how you could deny that smoking alone shows more of an addiction.

But anyway...

I've had some great memories of smokeouts with all my friends for sure, but on the other hand... nothin' beats chilling in your room, smokin' a bowl and chilling on the computer, playing a computer game, listening to your favorite music... the keyword is YOU. You get to do what YOU want... etc, and that is definitely kickass. And I always notice my thought patterns begin to change after a few hits (especially if it's some chronic!) :) :D

I love smoking alone too. But I also like to blend my "stoner's lifestyle" with sociality too. I try to "even it up," as I have had many enjoyable experiences smoking with friends, in different locations, and by myself too ofcourse. I am already transforming into an anti-social twat, if I just choose to smoke by myself, this condition will only worsen. Many a great thing can be done when smoking with buds. Pun intended ;)

My advice, for anybody who likes to go out and smoke, is to try to smoke in as many different, and sometimes random, locations if possible. Examples include school, outside a restaurant before eating, before watching a movie, in the pool, at the beach, in the car etc. Be comfortable smoking out. I have NO IDEA what I am trying to preach here, but let me tell you I had no intentions of doing so! Just ignore me, hehe!

But I think not wanting to smoke out with your friends, and just choosing to stay home, shows some signs of laziness, and not just addiction or preference.
 
For me.. Most likely i perfer with my friends... My close friends that I smoke with day to day bases... We got our common grounds... We know how we act.. (by the way.. getting a noob stoned in one case was my worst mistake... he thought he was going to die... keke) so when I smoke i call up my smoking buddies who can take as much as me or more. I am sure u guys know what i mean... Dont get me wrong... smoking alone at times is nice as well but ehhh i end up getting quite bored
 
I don't like smoking alone too much. I usually wake up before my girlfriend and roll one or two joints. It doesn't matter anyway.
 
I enjoy smoking alone and all but for me there is nothing better than chillin' at the beach on a warm summer night with some good friends smoking joints and playing guitar........those were some of the best nights of my life.
 
I also enjoy smoking alone, and one of my best friend's does too. So it worked out really well last year cause we lived in the same dorm. We would go for a drive or a walk together to actually physically smoke, then as soon as we got back to the dorms he would go to his room and I would go to mine. I could surf the net and listen to my music and munch in the comfort of my room and he would also do the same in his room so it worked out really well.

So I do enjoy being high alone in my own space, but as for the act of smoking, it's nice to have someone to walk with or drive with. :)
 
I have one real good smoking mate, is in uni while im in high school. We have breaks at the same time. its nice, we meet up nearly ever day for a cone or two. Other than that, weekends i smoke primarily with friends, we meet up for a rage on friday and usually saturday too, try new drugs and such too. Smoking alone is fun, you can just chill out and watch a movie, but its often more rewarding smoking with a really good mate and just chilling 100% comfortably.
