smokin sage

Here is what I found on www.erowid.org when I used their search feature (I know i am being a dick by doing that with search, but i just got in after a long night and i just smoked, so you will have to deal with it, sorry). Anyways, here is what came up:
USES :
Drinking or gargling with warm sage tea is a good remedy for a sore throat, canker sores, or tonsillitis. Sage also helps relive indigestion and colic...and has been shown to help reduce fevers.
Sage can be used externally as a lotion for wounds.
Now, I don't see how that would be very useful, unless you have some mouth problems...but then again I honestly don't know anything about this, so it may be possible, but I doubt it.

P.S. I saw it said it came from the same family as salvia, so if that's why you are thinking this, then maybe, but i still kinda doubt it, who knows?

yea thats what i was thinkin bc ppl call salvia the davine sage so i was thinkin that sage would kinda be like it but like alittle less intenes
 
doesnt salvia come from the mint family? try smoking some crushed up altoids, my friend mike awesome said it gets you fuxored
 
Salvia Divinorum (available from 10,000 places on the net and the Mexican wilderness) is psychoactive.
Sage (available from your supermarket's spice isle or some co-op hippy vitamin store) isn't.
You can smoke it, but I can't promise you that it will get you high, or not taste like crap.
 
BTW, the stuff in Salvia Divinorum is called Salvinorin-A. It's not in any other plants (or spices), as far as I know.
