Misc Smoked straight baking soda. Feeling very sick. Help?

I attempted to make a baking soda focalin sheet with extracted Ritalin in water and baking soda. I smoked all of it fast. I used way too much maybe a half to a teaspoon and now I’m getting what I feel is a rapid heart beat, pins and needles in hands and muscle spasms. Will probably end up going to the hospital if it doesn’t subside soon but in the meantime what am I looking at by having done this. Anything to help it past? I’m very scared right now.

- get fresh air, sit upright, slow your breathing
- rinse your mouth with water and spit it out
- sip water, but don't force fluids

get medical help urgently if you have any of these

- shortness of breath, wheezing, chest tightness
- severe coughing or coughing up foam/blood
- burning pain in throat or chest
- dizziness confusion, nausea that won't stop

if symptoms are significant or worsening, call emergency services now

even if you feel "okay"
you should call poisons information

I’ve started feeling better as of maybe 10 minutes ago. Heart feels like it’s slowing down. Mouth is still dry and tastes like baking soda so will wash it out. So far non of the other symptoms just headache. Starting to be able to feel the two clonidine and 1 mg Ativan I took 3 hours ago. And also will poison control just tell me to go to the hospital or will they provide me other information to get better at home would you say? Also thanks.

I’ve smoked plenty of bad crack that was overcooked with baking soda and I was always fine. Your symptoms are due to the Focalin so stop Focalin around and wise the Focalin up.
