smoked DMT (3rd time), DPT (4th), N2O (xp) -- Discovering Higher Power

that was an awesome report, and i love the phone-ringing thing. I experience these kind of "deja vu/couldn't be coincidence" things like that when deep into a trip sometimes.

I wonder if sensing gender within DMT is influenced by your own gender? Or even with any other psychedelic, being female I have only ever sensed female higher presences.
My general sense of it was that it was the commanding/controlling quality of the "other" entity that made me instinctively characterize it as male. My personal psyche I think identifies strong controlling outside forces as coming from men/father figures, and more nurturing forces coming from women/mother figures (cf. one's family background....)

The DMT force was definitely saying "you will do this, you will submit", which I think my instinctive animal brain kernel just automatically classified as male.

BRILLIANT report, that was some awesome description just can't wait to try this mysterious chemical DMT, thanks for the report,

peace

You know I forgot to mention one funny thing about this trip. A few minutes after I started coming down from the DMT, when I was still wandering about going "wow...." and feeling completely touched by God, the phone rang, two rings, and then stopped. I had always heard the legend/rumor or whatever that when people have a near death experience, the phone will spontaneously ring, like you are in touch with a higher power. I definitely felt like this was possible on this momentous occasion. Anyone else heard of this?

Yep, it happened to me two or three times when I took DPT at home.

holy shit. and i thought my DXM salvia trip was something. Well, it was..but DMT remains to be the number one drug i MUST do. I've always regarded it as the king of psychedelics.

About the DPT. I agree. DPT always gave me a closed-eyed trance situation where the most alien CEV would come about.

I've never heard of it, but I will certainly vouch for it anecdotally. High dose of mushrooms, couldn't figure out the phone for the life of me, but it was ringing, and somehow managed to get the phone answered 8o

Still a fantastic report victor, don't ever leave here

Intense Trip Report VictorBorge!! Thanks for a truly
profound and interesting read!

I tried some N,N-DMT (10 mg smoked) for the first time at the weekend. The idea that this was a masculine vision occurred to me before reading your posts tonight. I'm not sure why - maybe the brutality of the onset, and the insistence of the vision itself?

I found myself enclosed in a vast canopy constructed of interlocking branches, as regularly spaced and evenly shaped as girders, but composed of pulsating “cells”. The cells were brightly coloured, almost neon (with hot pinks, luminous greens and violets), and had a dark nucleus, a bit like the eggs in frogspawn. I gasped at the intricacy of the construction and the constant flashing movement of brilliant light and colours. And as I watched and waited, wondering if anything would develop, this pulsating/flashing went on… and on… and on, relentlessly, without changing. At some point I began to feel uncomfortable, as if there was something almost mocking about this “empty” mechanical process – like seeing a vision of creation, but creation devoid of any particular intent – clever, but profoundly indifferent.

Having had some transcendently beautiful experiences with 5-MeO-DMT, I’ve been struggling to work out what to make of all this. It might not have helped that there was a CD playing that suddenly got a bit headbanging just as I was inhaling. Maybe the accidental shift in the music influenced my impression of disco-flashing meaninglessness. I felt I’d rather be in silence. Or maybe I was badly prepared, though I had read quite a bit and took it very seriously. Or maybe I was trying to control it too much (when it reached the point of seeming almost aggressive, I did find myself searching – in vain – for something “softer” there). There must be something I have to learn, but I’m still trying to work out what it means.

^^ Music absolutely has a HUGE effect. It can make or break any trip, and with DMT its importance is only magnified because the (smoked) trip is so short, you are likely to be up and back down again in the span of just one song, so that song is EVERYTHING.
