I got hold of some Smoke plus no sourcing. Here's what the company say about the product:
I found the smoke to be very harsh. I found it impossible not to cough and got a strong wave of nausea which passed after 30 or so seconds. I've tried it in my bong on in a pipe.
I'm not a very experienced smoker of any product really. I never took up smoking cigarettes, weed has never been a big hit with me and have generally been into drugs that come in tablet/powder form.
I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it although I have smoked a fair bit of weed over the years and a couple of bags of various "Spice" products, a bit of Salvia etc... so I'm not a total smoking noob .
I have never had this sensation previously. The smoke feels smooth on the way down but after a few seconds my lungs feel like a knife is cutting through them. This then makes me cough and feel very nauseous.
From the very little I have smoked of this "Smoke Plus" product, I have had good results. It feels very different to any of the Spice products that I have tried. I have found it to be similar to salvia in the body feeling I get but without the mental distortions. I have had no change of perspective or anything that I would consider psychedelic at the doses I've been able to get in me.
So, to the question and whole point of this post; I am not willing to try and smoke this product any more as the enjoyment I get from it is not worth the harshness from the smoke imo. Although, I do have an amount of this left that cost me a considerable amount of money and don't want to waste. Has anyone had any experience with making a tea out of it? Or just eating it maybe? What kind of dosages have you tried?
I can't seem to find too much info on this product. I don't believe it has the same active chemicals in there as other products (jwh-018 etc...), or not those in isolation anyway, maybe in combination with other chemicals? Does anyone know what is in it that actually gives the effects? I would love to believe what the company say are the only ingredients but as we've seen in the recent past, that is just not possible with certain types of vendor.
Thank you for any responses.
"Our products contain a mixture of specifically targeted, all organic alkaloids that are isolated and concentrated to achieve a very special relaxing effect. All organic compounds used are from plants etc with a long history of use such as, Erythrina, Aesculus, Cinnamomum and Verbascum genuses etc. Typical plant extractions capture all of the plants alkaloids, which can produce some problems in sensitive people when they are concentrated to make any effect stronger.
The huge difference between ours and other products, is that when others make a product they make a total alkaloid extract and concentrate it to get the maximum possible effect. The problem is that Mother Nature has made most plants with hundreds of alkaloids (we've never measured the total of any plant that I have ever heard) and if you concentrate them all equally, you do get a stronger mix, but you get just as big an increase of bad/toxic/unknown alkaloids as you do the one(s) that give the pleasant effect you're looking for.
We target a single or very small group that we know is active and has not shown any proven adverse side effects, and we extract and purify it to end up with just the one we want. Aesculus (Horsechestnut) is a great example, as if you read around you'll see some "experts" telling you that it can produce allergic reactions and is not to be trusted, but German doctors and paramedics have been using it for hundreds of years and most there still keep it in their bags when they attend sporting events, so I would believe the Germans with hundreds of years experience rather than an “expert” who is trying to discredit it, perhaps on behalf of a competitor or drug company etc. The alkaloid Esculin in a typical Horse chestnut extraction has been suggested as the cause of those very few adverse reactions so we remove it, not for the experts but for our customers.
That's how we can make a product that is so strong and without any common side effects, that people assume it has to be either synthetic or bad for you, because if they or others were to make something with as strong an effect it feels “dirty” or chemical and you just know you’re going to regret it the following day!
