Awesome man :) Yea wiring isn't as hard as it look's, just a pain in the ass in some area's..As for the sub, i reckon you should put one in :)Having a decent sound system in your car is a must ;)

Yea I'm pretty sure we have Linde forklift's at work too. This is similar to the one i drive, only difference is we sit down on the ones we drive :)

Ohh, the old high lift... We also have an electric pallet jack, makes displaying those potting mixes and stuff so much easier when you're putting them away!



Two reasons why I haven't gone to the trouble of a sub as yet are that:

I only ever listen to JJJ and only really like half the stuff they play, it would be good pump certain songs though. I'll be able to plug my ipod into this head unit though so yeah, I'll save for the wiring and a sub and amp.

Aaaand, I put in the Fairmont you can put the back seats down and carry long stuff through the car, and I do that a fair bit. There is a hole in the parcel shelf for a sub but it would vibrate too much. So if I had it behind the seats I would lose that functionality. But... in the last few weeks I have fitted a tow bar so I'm saving up for a trailer for those jobs. Once I get that though, I could design an awesome box for a sub. lol, I'm looking at getting a Ute soon anyway. I might give the Fairmont to my dad so it could be worth it :)
 
Ahh fair enough :) What kind of Ute are you thinking of getting? I want one of these:

After months of careful consideration I have decided on either a Falcon or Commodore Ute with an Aluminum tray back. Spacious, power and comfortable on longer drives and traveling. But still with the convenience of a being able to carry virtually anything in the back. I love 4wds, and would be looking at Defenders and Crusier 70's series but I can't justify having one really. When I buy property I'll get my Cruiser.

This sort of thing is in my price range, and would suit me perfectly for the next few years...

Apparently the alloy trays can be a bit noisy, but you can take the sides off. Style sides are more expensive and you have the problem of rust and dings there. I wouldn't mind a heavy duty steel tray, but I would think it would increase your fuel consumption. Just the tray bed with some nice timber decking would be perfect for me.

I would want a manual, alloys and a decent roo bar on it for travelling :)
 
Sounds and looks the goods Klue ;) Yea the chances of that HSV sitting in my driveway one day are really slim :P but yea i actually got to drive one :) One of my dad's client's who is also a good friend has one and he let me take it for a "spin" ;)

You would have to be super wealthy or super into cars to have something like that. It boggles me the amount of money you can spend on luxury cars... I suppose it can be like a status symbol. Watching Top Gear tonight, they had a German supercar that was about half a million bucks... its ludicrous, you could buy half of Tasmania with that much cash :D
 
3 weeks I had flu symptoms, just getting over it now. I had heard from people with a flu this season had had it up to 6 weeks. I'm pretty sure I only had one last year too :)
 
I had my job interview today, not only am I glad to have it over and done with but I think I went pretty well too :D
 
My Austudy claim was granted and instead of the $150 a fortnight I thought I might receive, they're giving me $500! So my income won't actually change too much and my year ahead of 2minute noodles might actually now be able to include some REAL food as well :)
 
my best mate and his gf asked me to move in with them. a nice big 5 bedroom joint close to the CBD, shops and all which is convenient. the highschool is literally down the road so if i go missing all of a sudden,,, i kid, i kid (pun intended:D)

just fixed his computer problems he asked me to come round for and gonna go check out myth busters now.
