I'm still smiling - my best mate was hit as he was driving home yesterday but managed to walk away, despite his car flipping and rolling and sliding on it's side.
I can smile now, but only because I think this means he might be related to Jason Statham...

Would you believe that Brussell Sprouts are making me smile tonight?

They were deliciously unexpectedly delicious :)
 
Cut them in half and tossed them into a little bit of Olivo in a heavy pan (cast iron) and just stirred them around a bit, they almost get burnt on the outside. I'd heard bad things about Sulfur tastes but keeping it simple is the way to go. Plus they were super fresh.

And I once had a crush on this beautiful girl who loved Brussell Sprouts, and I could never buy them until now because of the association. That's really why I was smiling, they ended up being delicious :)
 
And now I feel like a douche because they are spelt Brussel Sprouts.

Walked away from the Club tonight with a meat tray of Rump, a $25 fruit and veggie voucher and money falling out of my pockets. Karma :)
 
^ Thanks mate, pretty happy. I virtually never win any decent amount on the pokies! I'm going to treat myself to half a dozen things I've been watching on ebay, and maybe a new watch (still shopping around really, but want a sweet Casio Gshock)...

This has been such an encouraging day for NSW and Australia! Wilkie! Adoption! Abbott is shit with numbers! After being disappointed over and over of late, I really feel like today is the first day I haven't felt frustrated or sad or angry. Thanks +61! You're doing it right.
 
I originally thought Labor were going to win because Oakeshott and Windsor identified climate change as a pertinent issue. Now I think so for a bunch of other reasons plus that.

I bet all the people who voted Liberal simply because they are "good for the economy" feel like giant douches now. Or they should do.
