Opioids SMALL doses of bupe/ then done

I wanted to put this in the bupe megathread but it has been closed. MODS please move it to the correct place....

If I for the past couple of days have taken 2mgs of bupe (or less) a day, and then today I take about 1mg today at 2pm, will I be able to feel methadone in its entirety tomorrow if I dose it around 5pm?

I just need a little pick-me-up buzz because I have some shit to do today that requires gusto...
 
It will be a tease, in that amount of time it will be a lingering high. Very frustrating.

That 1mg at 2pm will screw you.
 
I can't answer your question, but i'll add in some food for thought. I was on 32mg a day for about a month and even about a week after stopping it i still pissed positive......

A week after i had my last dose i stil had fucking buprenorphine metabolites in my piss.

Obviously i was on an extreme dose, but it's just an example of the extreme half-life of buprenorphine.

I doubt you will feel the methadone in it's entirety.
 
Ok thanks, if I don't take 1mg today do you think I will feel the done tomorrow?

(I know these kinds of questions are frowned upon here at BL because everyone's bodies are different, but I am curious about opinions...)
 
I have a lot of experience with this. Dose it around 5pm or even wait 2 full days then wake up and dose. I've been on bupe for a long time, and recently wanted to get high on some pods. I mean, you can definitely get high once you start feeling the chills from lack of bupe, but you will most likely end up wishing you waited an extra day. There's a good chance you might still nod (depending on the dose) but you probably won't be really satisfied financially and quantity-wise until way later in the evening (the nod) so I'd honestly wait. I know I certainly would/could of.

Hmm, I usually feel done a couple hours after dosing, and the euphoria reaches it's peak at about 2.5 hours... Are you saying the bupe will make the done take longer to 'come up'?

And you think that even even if I refrain from taking bupe for 36 hours I will still not feel the done? I have been taking 2mg doses and only did so for a couple of days...

I am definitely not going to take the 1mg today!:\
 
Oh, no..36hrs actually sounds pretty good. I was thinking the day after is what you meant.
It's not how fast the done hits you I was talking about, it's the actualy NOD NOD itself. I've done pods many times while on BMT (and ya stopping for 1-2 days), and found it's ENTIRELY worth it to refrain for a full 48hrs, with the 2nd day being the hardest for obvious reasons. I have only been able to refrain when I had dope on me, once, for that much time, sadly.

You will love it of course, but quite a big part of you is going to beat yourself up and wish you held off for one more sun down.
 
Thanks for your advice Dex. I am now foolishly craving that full antagonist warmth and might take methadone tonight around 5. I did just take 2mg of bupe yesterday at around noon.

I'm at a crossroads- it's an every day struggle if you know what I mean...
