A friend picked up some cocaine the other day and I was surprised to find that not only was it mostly rocked up, but the rocks had tiny little air holes or bubbles in them. Each little rock is fairly hard and looks almost exactly like a piece of coral one would fish out of the sea. It's really strange, they almost look like tiny pieces of intricate bone or coral. What kinds of things would or could cause this? It looks like it could be the product of an attempt at cutting and re-rocking the material but I've never seen anything like this before so I just don't know. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas about what could cause this?

Also, I wanted to mention that there are tiny sparkles spread out all over each rock and I'm wondering what people think this might be. I have seen these sparkling particles nearly every time I've laid eyes on cocaine and I'm in Kansas City which makes me think that the stuff around here is cut with a very tiny amount of crystal meth crushed up into tiny pieces of "glass". When looking at them with a microscope (it doesn't magnify all that much, though) they appear to be clear in color (transparent) and often rectangular in shape like very very tiny pieces of crushed glass.

I greatly appreciate any and all constructive responses. Thanks everyone!

When I cleaned my coke with acetone once it was cleaned I would mix the cleaned shit that had been dried with a tiny amount of water in a small container on a hot plate to make it back into big chunks, it has air bubbles and was real flaky and sparkled a lot like ur talkin about

Although I haven't used blow in 3-4 years, the sparkled appearance is also known as "fish scale", or, "the shine" and, back in the day, it was indicative of high-quality product. However, I've never seen or heard of 'bubbles' before.

This doesn't seem to be the standard "fish scale" appearance though. There are distinct, transparent, shiny particles spread out everywhere and they can be seen in both the hard rocks and mixed in with the powder. Looks like salt but probably even more transparent. Does anyone else think the material may be cut with a very tiny amount of crushed up crystal meth, especially because it's so prevalent around here and a very small amount could be used to greatly increase potency? Or could it be another adulterant, pure caffeine maybe? It seems like we got the air bubbles figured out, just an attempt at a re-rock (although I'm wondering if the bubbles were formed due to an adulterant of some kind being added) but I am still really curious about what everyone thinks these glass-like tiny particles could be. They always sparkle but you can for the most part only recognize that they are independent particles when you look with the microscope.

I appreciate all the responses so far but would greatly appreciate some more input from anyone with an idea about what this shit could be.

I'm with doug2113, I've never dabbled in cocaine too often, but when I do an attempt to keep it classy and hq is in order. Sounds like it is re-rocked for sure, sorry if I'm wrong in theory.
