Benzos Slowly Getting Off Klonopin....

I get 60 .5mg Klonopin once a month but I take them all in about 4 days, then Im off for 26 days
and I havent had any withdrawal problems. Now if someone takes 10mg a day, everyday for years then thats a different story. I used to go through 30 Xanax .5mg in 2 days and I did get the sweats from that, plus lack of appitite. My advice is Dont do them every day unless your
under the care of a doctor. Peace!

^man no ones interested in you eating your bottles of medication. You dont get withdrawal because your just taking it all at once, and not even taking that much. Most people that take benzo's have anxiety/sleep problems. Taking benzo's recreationaly is dumb, and you should find another drug. It's not worth the possible dependency.

I just jumped off 1.25mgs of valium awhile ago and the first thing that you get is rebound rem sleep. You start dreaming again. I actually got a better sleep without them. I took velerian for bout 2 weeks after stopping and besides feeling a little twitchy and paranoid for awhile. Its easy to make a full recovery. You willhave very mild withdrawal bairley noticable. What I did was I started skipping days unil I got to about 3 days between doses, this helps get the diazepam out of your body, and also helps your body get used to not being on benzos. 3 months after you quit you will feel a lot better ironically. Although you might have a occasional panic attack and urg you'll be great.

Peace

What was your benzo history? Which drug, dose, and length of use?

Ikeakite has a point. Everyone I know who binges on them i.e. snorts whole scrip in 2 days never seems to ever have experienced withdrawal. I took low doses over 4 months or so over a year ago and I still don't feel right. Cold turkeying sucks. To the OP, just come off slow and if you need more kpins find a sympathizing doctor who knows a little something about this, although that's not easy. The slower the better. Some people who WD slow enough and reducing by really rediculously small amounts have almost no WDs after there taper is done. But, Ikeakite seems to have a point, using these on binges doesn't to provoke WDs. Using them regularly is much worse. I think I would have rather died then get all fucked up with my first experience with WDs. What's even worse is actually using them for anxiety/stress/sleep problems cause then you get rebounds that really really mess you up. Really, I learned the hard way, if life is treating you hard and you can't sleep cause of your stress and anxiety, fucking with benzos will worsen it in the end!
