When I'm sober I listen to very high energy music like hardstyle, happy hardcore, and gabber. But whenever I roll, I feel uncomfortable with fast music, and I have a great preference for slower more relaxing music. Does anyone else experience this?

Yeah, I really dislike slow music when rolling. Twerk, trap, DNB and the such are just NOT what I want to hear rolling. When I'm drunk I love some trap, but whenever MDMA is involved I need a fat 4 on da floor beat... Hardstyle is my favorite, although I really like a diverse selection of sounds when rolling so the Electro/House/Dubstep kind of sets really tend to stand out.

Tripping usually brings out the Hard Trance/Dance

if I hear "TURN DOWN FOR WHUT" one more time, I might scream..

E is all about environment. Your senses are sooooo elevated that you essentially just can hear feel smell all the little things that you couldn't before. It's entirely possible that your mind through all of it's over stimulation just wants to relax with slower music.

imho fast music with a loud 4 on the floor kickdrum (and preferably some epic melodies) is ideal on mdma. normally i like my music around 140-150bpm, but with mdma around 190bpm is just as nice. slower music like minimal/house bores me either way :)
