I feel so damn liberated. My contract that's due at the end of August likely won't get renewed due to funding and I'm actually not sad about it. I have a few grand saved up and I'm going to hop in my car and peace the fuck out of here! :D

Think I'm going to go to California for a month or three; bringing a tent, sleeping bag and spend some time in national parks along the way. :)

Ive talked a couple people Ive meet through there on AIM

But I haven't meet any in person yet , Maybe someday

I'm still hoping to bump into that special someone in person <3

A couple of the really cool girls that Ive meet online and become good friends with all lived too far away. We would talk on the phone for awhile but it's pretty hard to start a relationship with someone with a huge difference between you.

I actually met this guy at a party recently and she's coming over tomorrow , You would like her alot SKL. She's kinda artsy and is very intelligent. And not to mention beautiful <3

i find it really hard to meet people in new york city, i dunno. i don't get out very much anymore, the "scene" here as it is is kind of beat. unfortunately a lot of the people i meet on the "scene" are really pretty fucked up and vapid people who are just interested in drugging themselves into some sort of temporary neuropharmacological bliss whereas a lot of the people who i meet in mainstream society are just blissfully unaware and lacking in any real depth....... who's got my happy medium? bluelight has,so far, honestly given me some of the people who i call my best friends today. so ih ave some modicum of faith in the internet. but this whole internet dating thing is odd. i do appreciate the lack of awkwardness of trying to decipher what someone's intentions are....but yeah,weird weird weird.

I have the same thing. I can't seem to find that middle ground IRL. The only place I've found it is here on BL. :)
