I did the most cringey shit when I was on it. I almost got murdered by two dudes on it, I OD'd on "sleepy dope", I broke into a police substation during hurricane Matthew or Michael. It made me lose my fuckin mind smh. I'm still really ashamed of some of the stuff I have done high on meth!!

I've been reading studies about various cathinones dopaminergic neurotoxicity vs meth and can you believe meth shows neurotoxicity at 2.5mg/kg while mephedrone (4-mmc) showed none at 40mg/kg!!!
I did the math and my favorite dose of 4-mmc is under 6mg/kg and that dose blows any combination of meth and MDMA I've done out out of the water.

I don't do it anymore but I remember sleepy dope. My x drug dealer said it's popular to smash crazy pills like Psy meds for crazy people into the drugs. Now I say this because sometimes the stuff I got from her looked different and sometimes the high had this bad feeling that reminded me of mdpv in that I got high and I stayed up but I only wanted to stay in bed. Like I bought the meth to clean up and I ended up watching TV for 3 days. I think maybe stuff dealers be buying research chemicals and selling it as meth or mixing it with meth. But I quit so no more weird things like that for me. I won't lie though I do miss really good glass. The kind that lasted for days then you get to sleep it off. I'm ok. I'm ok. I'm ok. Sleepy Dope is the myth.
I've experienced the effects everyone talks about (strong urge to close your eyes, no euphoria, confusion..) and every time it's happened, it was always halfway through or at the tail end of a bag.
That tells me the culprit is my own damn brain.

From your description it sounds like it was ice cut with fentanyl or some other depressant. You should 100% invest in some reagent testing kits and start test your drugs. Also sending it of too labs would be a good shout.

Worth mentioning I'm in Australia too, so it might be difficult to apply experiences here to elsewhere, but I've definitely heard of seroquel as a cut in drugs, as well as fentanyl occasionally showing up in meth. I've never seen it but I don't do meth very often.

Either of those could account for sedating effects.

Yes I realize this thread is over a year old but maybe someone will have a new input.. The stuff I currently have is apparently the same thing. I swear no typical effects like stimulation, euphoria or energy. Exact opposite in fact! I just IVed a shot about 25mins ago and am now very heavy eyed like I want to sleep but I don't want to. Coincidentally I went to see my ex-dealer a few days ago when they asked me for help in how to do reagent testing on some different things.

They had several ounces in total of different product and were talking about which ones were racemic, P2P, and pseudo as well as sharing a few tidbits of info on the industry.

This dealer was well aware of ‘sleepy dope’ and used that term and they were very worried about getting some dumped on them in a scam.

They said it is not a locally added cut, but that serious-size criminal groups were inporting it from China and selling it for $ 50 K per kg wholesale. In comparison, a kg of the best quality meth is $ 200 K.

They were a bit disappointed to learn that sleepy dope and genuine methamphetamine very probably give exact same colour on Marquis test.
