could anyone give me some idea on sleeping pills I could ask for at the doctors?
I got exams and shit which means I'm on speed a lot. while its great if u wanna study it sort of screws its own benefits by keeping u awake too long, which as u all know leads to being fucked up and halluzinating. (as i am rite now)
So I need some pills that I can get of my local Doc. Something that can overpower the speed and lasts a while too. If i was still in europe I'd buy some rohynol for 2bucks each, but here they're like 20bucks and very hard to get.
to sum up... I want:
Names of "good" antispeed sleeping pills in australia and some tips on what a believable story would be.
and i need this soon too cause the weekend is coming and doc's are closed tomorrow. just a few quick ideas is all i need.
 
Go to your doctor and say you are flying overseas in a few weeks and you have a phobia of flying and get panic attacks and would like something to calm you and put you to sleep. hopefully you should get some benzo's (xanax will do the trick). IMO don't ask for something specific or they may get suss.

Xanax is short lasting and may not keep you asleep. You'd also have to take a hefty dose to knock yourself out. Klonopin is actually used as a sleeping pill, but it's not the best. Benzos are good to have around when you're speeding to take the edge off, though.
Personally, I would just assume take either anti-psychotics or sleeping pills. Anti-psychotics will knock you out in low doses assuming you're not schizophrenic. They're often given out to people who have manic episodes such as bipolars to use as sleeping pills. In the case of meth, you're inducing a manic episode more or less.
Anti-psychotics would include Zyprexa, Seroquel and Risperdal.
Basic sleeping pills with very few side effects would include Ambien and Sonata.
As far as getting them, you should have no problems. Say you're having general anxiety where you are so worried about doing your work okay that you can't concentrate and it's interfering. Then say that you lay down at night but you can't get school or something out of your mind and you end up watching the clock tick by and you don't get to sleep until 3 or 4 or 5 in the morning and you're getting little sleep and completely exhausted which is making things even worse. This way you should be able to get a benzo AND some kind of sleeping pill.
This is pretty common stuff so the doctor isn't likely to think you're trying to scam him. They usually give out sleeping pills and benzos like candy if you complain about the right problems.

hey thanx heaps guys... that was really quick. I got worried the weekend would catch up with me and i'd be stranded on a fucked wave for a while.
i reckon I'll just tell him sort of the truth in that my sleeping problems are due to stress at Uni. Otherwise I wouldn't be taking any speed. (yeah rite... I spent 6hrs studying last nite and 9hrs talking to my buddies...lol...)

Ask for temazapam. It's used for short term treatment of insomnia. Plus if you bang it you'll get more twisted then you could ever imagine...

What do you mean with banging it??
I actually had those be4, but they're just too weak to get me to sleep. I'd have at least 3 of them and it'd still be just messing with my head.
Anyways I got...Alodorm(just the brand)-Nitrazepam 5mg.
I suppose there is simularity in the name, but these are supposed to be a bit stronger though and more longlasting. The last thing u want is to take the pills, fall asleep and then wake up 2-3hrs later still buzzing.
So... does anyone know these pills? Are they good? and how should i dosage them? the doctor said like between 1/2 and 1 before goin to sleep. But i doupt that he included speed in his assessment.
Funny though... it says on the package:
"MAY" cause drowsiness !! well dahh !!! who would have thought. they also increase the effect of alcohol... maybe thats my chance to get into date-raping. *jokin*

if it came down to these 2..choose the sleepin pills,i wouldnt mes with a anti-psychotic unless you literally could not find anything else.
i find that xanax or klonopin does a helluva job at puttin me to sleep for a good 8-12hrs(dependin when i have to get up)...and another good reason to choose a BENZO would be that its gonna help with the comedown off speed,unlike the anti-psychotic wich will probably make you feel MORE weirded out when you wake up(but everyone reacts differently)

All sleeping pills I've encountered have that "warning" on the bottle. I've never in my life understood why the hell you'd warn someone that a sleeping pill might make someone drowsy, though.

Something like Seroquel has almost no lingering effects. Zyprexa is extremely powerful and it might have you weirded out later, though.
Really, a sleeping pill is not going to have you any more or less weirded out than a comparitively strengthed anti-psychotic. Even Ambien has me feeling slightly out of it in the morning even if I can devote a full 8 hours to sleep!

What the hell? Please don't ever inject tomazepam. Just because it comes in a capsule. Its an oil not a liquid and when entered in the bloodstream it will coagulate and form blood clots. This will typically happen in the small veins of fingers, which commonly have to be amputated due to gangrenous. Check out injecting tomazepam
And as far as Zyprexa goes, it doesn't put everyone to sleep regardless if your skitzophrenic or not. Zyprexa seems to be a little over-exaggerated in its strength.
Ambien works well so does Tomazepam (which is why doctors are so happy to prescribe it because Tomazepam has little recreational value except getting to sleep). Tomazepam lasts roughly 6 hours.
Valerian (herbal supplement) is proven to improve quality of sleep and even though it is fairly weak at getting you to sleep, in combination it works great.
Melatonin is another herbal supplement which doesn't really have much strength in its ability to get you to sleep but improves quality of sleep.
Your local pharmicist should be able to point you out some anti-histamines which work well aswell.
5-htp is another option (order from the net) which is generally quite effective.
If your a weed smoker, a joint may help aswell.
You should also check out some relaxtion techniques to get rid of all the stress from schools and the speed.
When you comedown from the speed, take 1 or 2 of the alodorm and you should be out. Due to the long half compared to Tomazepam you might feel a little drowsy in the morning.

Oye.. how about you go into the doctor and say "yeah, I have been using speed to stay awake and study, can I get some benzos to knock me out?" .. man, the doctor will be RACING to script you Zanny Bars, Totum Polls, Zee-Bars .. maybe Blues, Kay-Pens, V'eees, Roche-tens, Roofies, THE DATE RAPE DRUG, Hammer, Tammy.. yes the benzos will be yours! The benzos, they WILL BE YOURS!
Wait, did I say that? No, you're mot even going to get Ambien for your "insomnia" .. if you're under like 30 then you're probably going to be thrust onto some anti-depressant which is ABSURD to think that Zoloft is the BEST MEDICATION to put ANYONE ON because they report a sleepless night? I could rant about it but instead just reat the linked thread, it has proven to get myself as well as a ton of other people a supply of benzos either within their first visit or the phonecall they made a couple days later...
 
thanx to all... u helped me a lot here, but I've got one more question.
I found out the hard way about what go-ee said about alodorm lasting a fair while. 1 knocked me out good, but i was laready buzzing for 30+ hrs. so i suppose i didn't need much. However, the next day was bad. I was so hungover that i could barely stand-up for a while. Later on I felt a bit better, so i went back to study. I took another point of speed as I had planned, but it virtually had no effect at all.
Now to the question:
did the speed fail to take effect due to the alodorm still doin something in me, or would it just be because i had some speed not to long ago.
normally i wouldnt have a problem getting hyped after taking it again. so, could it be that the pills somehow, nullify the effect of the speed?
Reply's would be much appriciated, cause obviously that has screwed up my study plan a lot.
 
hey i totally forgot something...
I was bit "confused" yesterday so as i took the point i also took 1000mg Notropil.
If u're not familiar with the name, its basically a pill used by doctors during emergancy operations at night. u don't feel anything, but u can concentrate on one thing a 100%. there is no drifting off whilst reading your boring finance book. 100% focus.
could that have cause my bad expirience with the speed. i would somehow thought that it would help the speed or it wouldnt make a difference at all.
just thought i'll tell ya that as well, so u can help me a bit better...
 
Phreex - Yeah doctors will give you some ssri, but most doctors will AT LEAST give you some ambien... prolly an SSRI and ambien, but you don't have to eat the SSRI's.. I'm not saying every doctor will do this, but with me I just call my doctor and say I can't sleep and he'll call in my pharmacy for 30.. just my opinion.
