Umm do you mean "Librium"?
Yes they do cause drowsiness.

It is not the best benzo to help with this but its better than nothing. I would say you would need a lot of them tho.
If you don't have a tolerence to benzos I would try starting with something like 75mg. If that doesn't help you can always take more but I don't think librium is very sedating to be honest....
