i think i may be seeing a sleep specialist soon, my doctor threw in the towel me thinks

anywho, has anyone been to one and remembered what you did for your first few visits?

just wondering how my odds are at scripting for something nice and scheduled. i would worry that they might throw me on some kind of dietary/excerise/meditation restrictions and try to approach it from a non-drug direction.

if they plan to waste my time, mayhap i should just cancel the appointment, dunno, any positive/negative experiences out there?

also, im on a hefty dose of dex 10mgs, im not looking to jeopardize that at all.

I've been to a sleep clinic and my experiance was this...

They basically asked me a bunch of questions and had me fill out a questioneer and I spoke to the sleep doctor there so she can adequately assess my problem. Once they have it down ... they tell you to follow a strict plan in order to get your sleep stabilized.

Sometimes they will make you stay over night in the lab and have you sleep there and tape electrodes to your head to measure your EEG waves and such. Though, my case wasnt serious enough to merit that kind of attention.
