Sleep paralysis after taking ''molly''

My girl was explaining to me her first trip on what she said was a molly and it sounds kind of bizzare.

She claims she took the pill in a car (without looking at it... ) and she was told it was molly - gullible as she was, she prepared to enjoy a molly trip.

She claims she laid down and for two hours said she was in a sort of sleep paralysis. She didn't know weather or not she had slept during the time but describes the surroundings as fuzzy and strange. She then claims her friend came in the room and she proceeded to chat with a heightened euphoria and gittyness.

I've had my round with ex and street pills 5 years ago when i got out of highschool but i never remembered feeling the sedation she was describing, however there wasn't really that 'molly' bullshit either, or at least it wasnt available to me.

Anyway, she just took another capsule of molly. This would be her second time doing it. I examined the pill and the powder was brown and looked similar to if you were to put a small amount of water in some brown sugar. She took the pill at 11:36 and it's been an hour. She reports nothing as of yet - however i plan to do a full report once its over (if it ever begins).

Basically I'm wondering what the sleep sedation would be from. Is it possible someone cut the pill with something like seroquel or resperdol? Does it seem like a research chemical of some sort?

Anything would be helpful, thanks

Your asking us to guess what chemical she took? What would be gained from a bunch of random guesses? The simple answer is we do not know what she took. It is indeed possible that the pill was cut. It is also possible that she simply took a dud chemical, fell asleep, had a crazy ass dream and then woke up.

MDMA normally comes with its standard effects - Rushes, empathy, pupil dilation, jaw tension (or wobbles), eye wiggles, sweating, music appreciation etc If NONE of these were felt then chances are its not MDMA.

It could be anything really,
Lots of heartless shady dealers out there trying to make a quick Buck.

I suggest you get a reagent test kit to give you a better idea of what you and/or your girl are taking.

Sleep paralysis can happen with many different types of medications. It seems to happen with stimulants. It's nothing to be afraid of as she'll most likely come out of her half-conscious state the moment anyone actually comes into the room or wakes her up.

I have a case of narcolepsy and I will get sleep paralysis every other night sometimes multiple times in a row. It's frightening and often I will have hallucinations of something coming to kill me.

Once, when I took TFMPP (NEVER AGAIN), I basically got really tired and curled up in the fetal position for a good 5 hours after throwing up foam. That drug made me really tired for some reason, but it was such an awful feeling.

No one here could no though... it could literally be any drug. That's why speculation questions like these aren't allowed on BL, no one can know. Get a test kit, they're only $25 from Dancesafe and it will tell you if you're taking ecstasy or fake shit

when i first got into molly, my 5th 6th and a few more times
was alot like this
i took too much both times, and didnt go out, sat in my apt listening to music, i couldnt get up from the bed or couch..
so she may have just taken to much?

One of my friend has this effect (sleep paralysis) many of the times he takes it. It sounds pretty uncomfortable but it's never been any real harm to him.

What would be gained from a bunch of random guesses? Information would be gained with random guesses. I believe this site does not employ psychiatrists so technically every bit of information is a "random guess'' regardless of the context. So thanks for your random guess, pal. I appreciate it...

To give some post-trip info to the seeking user - It was in fact mdma/x. It took about 3 hours but when it hit, her eyes started rolling around and she was clenching her jaw in a steady repetition. I gave her a ghetto light show with the infrared light from my mouse and she was rolling balls.

Honestly mollies are fucking retarded. I'm pretty sure she got an x pill crushed up in a capsule and I've since then convinced her to just use adderall instead of trusting sketch ass dealers on their interpretation of 'fire mdma'.

Cheers

I've experienced regular episodes of sleep paralysis after taking both clean MDMA and street pills. It is usually a terrifying experience, and for me it was one of the worst side effects of E. It generally started about two days after taking E and could last for one to three nights. It's difficult to explain, but a typical experience begins as a very vivid dream where you hear a conversation or voices from people you know well. It feels so real that you don't realize you are dreaming, and you begin to fight to awaken and move but find that you are totally paralyzed. You scream for help and believe that you really are screaming out loud and after a long struggle of not being able to move and starting to panic you jerk awake and realize none of it was real. I've sometimes jerked awake after believing I was screaming for a long time and couldn't believe that my husband was still quietly sleeping beside me. Once a cycle of sleep paralysis starts it can happen over and over in one night.

My layman's explanation of the scientific explanation I've heard is that while you sleep your body produces a paralyzing chemical. Sleep paralysis occurs when your brain awakens from sleep before the body has the signal to clear the paralyzing substance from your body. What results is that your mind is awake but your body is unable to move. It's during this brief lag that you experience sleep paralysis - a short time that can seem like an eternity.

I don't use E regularly anymore, but the best coping mechanism I learned when it was happening was to lay there and to try not to move and remind myself of the physiology behind what was happening, but the urge to panic and fight to move was always very strong - especially with the vivid aural hallucinations where you are sure you hear people talking and end up screaming bloody murder for help.

recently quit smoking ganja after a solid year of daily toking...the last three nights i have had fucken crazy night mares. i just started reading Freauds the interpretation of dream...i know its been proven bs but i guess it worth a read...i find it hilarious the dude was a fucking cocaine fiend and actually got patients hooked on the stuff.

What you described isn't sleep paralysis. I Your mind is awake essentially... but your body is having a problem switching into NREM and jumps ahead of your brain, and you become almost paralyzed where you can only wiggle your toes or a finger to try and wake your body up, it's normally really hard to breathe and feels like somebody is sitting on your chest
. After a year of this I started experiencing severe lucid nightmares. Correct me if I'm wrong but this seriously sounds like she took a Molly cut with a downer of some sort. If she remembers everything there really isn't too much of a problem

I've found that sleeping on your back makes you more likely to experience this. So does having odd sleeping patterns. If you wake yourself up a little bit before going to bed or just have a beer before bed it really helps.

Dont sleep on your back, sleep with some light in the room at least, try some diaz maybe.

Freaky as fuck though even in the daytime sleeping on my bed with my door wide open I got the worst sleep paralysis, thought it sounded like there was someone right outside my room, just couldnt move scary as fuck. Shaking my body and head trying to wake up, then repeating this another 3-4 times, dont know why its so hard to stop
