I think drugs for sleep is where I have the most experience. I've had sleeping problems almost all my life. Right now I take Seroquel, doxepin, mirtazapine, and Lunesta. My memory is pretty fuzzy, but I seem to remember procuring some ezopiclone from a source outside the US, and I'm pretty sure it was a lot more than 3mg, which is the largest pill here. Also, I have no idea why we don't have the generic here. Speaking of memory problems, mixing Ambien and Lunesta was quite the experience. I was having conversations I had no recollection of the next day, both phone and IM. I could not remember going to bed at all. Yes, I know it's stupid.
So I'm back to the 3mg of Lunesta. Besides giving me that classic horrible taste in my mouth, it is doing nothing. I thought I read you don't build a tolerance? I'm pretty sure it's futile to ask my psych for anything else - the poor guy has been trying to help me for over a year. No benzos - I went through them all and built tolerance. I came off 6mg a day of clonazepam this year and it took 5 months. I tried to take myself off it cold turkey last year and ended up with a seizure, so I'm not looking to get on those again. I could go through all of the rest of the drugs I've tried but really, I just want to sleep. No idea what to do now.
