Sleep dep. hallucinations getting worse,signs of damage?

I just started taking a script of dexedrine 10mg am 10mg pm and im not going to lie even before getting them scripted i was a sucker for adderall and used it all the time. Now the stuff really really REALLY helps especially when it comes to finding employment but since ive been taking the dex is seems like after one day with no sleep im getting meth grade sleep dep visuals in terms of how vivid and real they are. I NEVER got that from not sleep on adderall even 3 day binges. Is dex more prone to cause hallucinations or could it be some sort of issue going on in my brain?

Stop binging.
Easier said than done, but I think it is your only option.
And you don't want to ruin your dex script in the long run.
Seeing as though it is really helping and that it is a script that is not easy to get.

Well dex is peculiar in the sense that its not good recreationally unless u take high doses IMO 40mg where as adderall 20mg gets u upppp. Dex is deffinatly less physically speedy then adderall and ive still been getting some anxiety with dex which ive heard was uncommon so im thinking going over to adderall instead.

At normal doses, does adderall work better for you than dex?

I think it does, when im on dex i find myself going in circles somehwat like thought loops but adderall im go go go. one thing i like about dex is i smoke like 4 cigs in 4 hours and after 3 hours on adderall im doubt fisting 100's

Dex is gonna be stronger than adderal, due to it not being a mixture of salts, so you're basically just taking way too much, probably about triple the amount of amphetamine you were taking when you were on adderal. Just reduce your dosage and use it less often.

Is it an extended-release formula? That may be why it doesn't feel as strong yet causes more side effects.

never thought about it having more amphetamine....interesting. Its instant release also. I think maybe im just used to having a bit of the good ole levo amphetamine in my stims for that extra pep, even if it does come with a bit of negative side effects

Hallucinations in any form are a sign that you've taken too many amphetamines.

Stop taking Dexedrine completely, get a full night's worth of sleep (at least 7 hours) and see how you feel in the morning. Make sure to get some food in your stomach and make sure you're hydrated. Amphetamines make people not eat, drink, or sleep. Eating, drinking and sleeping happen to be three things we need to do to survive...

Maybe you're taking it too late in the day....dexedrine is superior to adderall in every way, IMO
therapeutically and recreationally

I feel like it makes you think about food less..also water too. When i take drugs im very picky about making sure i take in enough vital amounts of sustenance in order to have the safest experience possible, but i find on dex I tend to forget to drink water or even think about food. Also my thoughts get way more abstract on dex than adderall...
