To be fair my friend, i dont see why that excerpt you just found has more credibility than the American Medical Association research? It just bluntly states that previous efforts were incorrect whilst offering no actual evidence??
I am afraid i dont know too much on this subject as Cannabis neurodynamics don't particularly fascinate me, but I have always found that when i am feeling a little light-headed/dizzy from too much smoke I can just eat a banana or something else of decent sugary value. Potentially, something that gives the insulin spike ie, refined sugars such as those found in sweets, chocolate etc are more effective.
At the end of the day, whether it does induce hypoglycemia or not, a little practical advice is what is needed here, such as have water on hand, smoke a bit slower, have something sugary on hand (regardless of whether it is just placebo or not, i've never met anyone who disagrees that it does and can help - placebo is a powerful thing...I personally think the sucrose actions may contradict the mechanisms of cannabis in such a way that you do feel slightly more sober post-consumption.....but im not entirely certain) and just relax. Be confident and relaxed, dont mindlessly abuse it....just basic practical advice i suppose.
Anyways, im off to smoke away this cider, beer, rum and poppy pod tea hangover. 120g pods 8 pints of cider, 8 pints of beer and a few shots of rum make for a rough morning after only 3 hours sleep! Its a nice day though, i have a phatty-boom-batty rolled and yerba mate on hand!
