Heroin skin reaction after IV use

after i've been IV'ing my heroin i notice the area around the injection site and in spots going up my arm turning red with white blochy bumps and its rather numb. I know i did not miss at all so what could this be? I know its speculatory but is it something i should worry about at all? I mean it goes away after 20 minutes or so but when it turns red and white like that is pretty gnarly and obvious looking that i had done something. Its also weird that i shot into my hand (which is broken out right now) and 1/3 up my arm theres a spot thats like that too. any help would be great
 
My speculation is that you're probably allergic or something to the substance they used to cut it. Try a different dealer and see if the spots continue appearing after the injection.. Hope it's nothing serious and that everything turns out well!
 
This is a histamine reaction,pretty common when banging morphine sulfate or heroin.
I get this all the time,and its not a miss at all,no pain,monster rush,sometimes the hives break out farther up my vein even.

p.s. a good treatment for histamine releases is antihistamines.
