Skateboarding and Snowboarding

hey, since we got this nice new forum I was wondering if any of you enjoy skateboarding and/or snowboarding. I have been doing both since i was 14 (now 22).

most definitley, longboarding is also real fun, since ive gotten to college ive picked up skating/longboarding much more to get around and do it just for fun all the time now, snowboardings dope too but i havent had the chance to go since middle school
 
I just tried snowboarding last month. It was fun till I hurt my shoulder a bit, def cant wait to go again though :)
 
I love skateboarding! I used to be way into it as a kid but then when I started to drive I just backed out. but my bandmates and I are going to dust off the boards this spring and start boarding again. I can't wait! especially since we have this huge show at the best skate park I've ever seen in person, Skatopia. they have the craziest half pipes there I've ever seen!

Board sports are my life!

I been skating since i was 12 (now 20) and snowboarding since I was 14.

I have slowed down a lot in skateboarding and brought up snowboarding lately especially this past season ( I got 270 boardslides, 5's and 7's, and corks nailed!!!)

I'm more about the skiing than the snowboarding... and have never skated... but hey... as long as it's on snow, then I don't care!!

I tried skateboarding many times but I never got it. Snowboarding on the other hand I picked up really fast. I can't stop going...what sucks is that it's a seasonal sport.
 
yeah, looks like a frontside. are those homemade ramps? they are pretty damn good... you're taking me back to my youth here!
 
You got a good amount of air there. I wanna get back into skateboarding. I heard Skatopia is one of the best parks in the U.S. . Too bad it's in Ohio...kinda far from here.
 
Yep, we made them out of some scrap wood, milk crates, road signs, pretty much anything ghetto we could find... we stole!
If you look in the last pic, the green building in the background, well it's abondoned and there was a lot of wood inside it we took to use too. Those pics were so long ago I was only 15! ahh good times, I hate getting older! :(

Balzout! I won a few stickers and two t-shirts from them in a skate competition a few years back.
 
i love to snowboard. i live in tahoe in the winter and work at a ski resort - i have both an office job (regular hours...) and i'm a aasi-certified snowboard instructor.

conditions have been very disappointing this season and i haven't been riding near as much as i would like...

Been boarding for about 10 years now. Skateboarding I'm not very good at, I can land heelflips, shove-its, and grind a bit but thats it. Snowboarding is my sport. Been hitting the parks for years now, can 720 in the pipe and 540 in the park.
 
that's awesome. 720's are insane themselves let alone in a pipe. Show us some pics!

I got a new pic, it's a snowboarding one this time, this was takin about 2 weeks ago, it was taken like just a tiny bit too early and snow flew up from the hit so it kind of clouds it out. I'm doing a front boardslide on our little homemade handrail...
