brenda can't even manage to have her own baby-i don't think she'll be the surogate, and claire would have to quit using drugs. Lisa would have been a good choice..... I've also been wondering about maya's parentage, it makes sense that lisa would tell nate it was his kid to avoid breaking up her sister's marraige, but how far could this really go being that both of them are dead? who's left to question it? her sister?--i have to say it's kinda neat to see ruth finally lose it, but poor claire. Also i feel sorry for george, does anyone else see the irony that they all talk to dead people, but when george does it, it is a sign of him being crazy?
 
well the fischers can talk to dead people because they all have that kind of exposure. what dead person is george talking to??? I just thought they were hallucinations that "crazy" people have??/ seriously though who is that character and who is the actress??? Hellena Bunham Carter?? that's who I think she looks like but I don't see her name in the credits...

i think its supposed to be one of his exwives...

i dont find it @ all ironic that george was institutionalized.... coversing w/ people who werent exactly there was only part of his psychosis he was living in a bombshelter and ranting about poisonous ocean waters:)

I was thinking that the seagul represented the messed up factor of the marriage.. like a metaphor for how rediculous the situation was with brenda's miscarriage with the "baby leeking out of her" as she so grossly put it. Kinda like, only something that obscure represents the couple.

just because someone has a miscarriage doesn't mean they can't have kids..


hows this for ya:

claire donates the egg, which is fetilzed by keith's sperm and implanted in brenda. this way the kid will have both genetics from david and keith and also brenda could have a kid without nate having to have another one

lol i dont think that'll happen but it'd sure increase the weird incestual relationships this show has hehe =D
 
last night's episode was good but not as action packed as the premier. the whole billy clair thing is about to get pretty interesting but they've been telegraphing his future melt down in both episodes 1 and 2... anything short of him holding clair hostage will be kind of a let down.

im really getting upset with the way ruth is treating george. i suppose she's delt with soooo much drama in her on family that she cant hack it anymore but damn her for making me feel sorry for a character i despised before.

i thought brenda's "reality check" at the free clinic was pretty fucking trite. i have a hard time believing that woman who has been through some of the most fucked up shit ever anyone could ever imagine would be that affected by tales of child abuse...

anyway good times and i cant wait for the next one

Ruth seemed like she was being kinda mean until george started freaking out over the ice cream...

that ep had some great Six Feet standards like talking to the dead person, the "what i wish would happen sequence" and also a nice psychedelic dream sequence.. i enjoyed them all.

yeah fruitfly told me that that was in the next week's preview.. i didn't see the preview though so i was feeling all smart and apparently it was already known lol 8) =D
 
;) pshh i even suggested it in this thread like i had some great intuition but when i revisited episode 1 on demand i saw it and felt less than bright...
 
anyone else think billy and claire are headed into some serious trouble? I don't like billy being so manic, running around blowing loads of money and claire bitching at her mother for a chunk of her trust. not to mention their plans for Spain so she can "ripen" ? serious trouble....

finally watcghed last weeks episode (the one where nate turns 30) and i think it was the best episode yet... the bird symbolism was very weird though
