Television Six Feet Under

I've been watching this on dvd for the last few weeks and I am fucking sucked in. I'm currently several episdoes into season four. I'm not usually the biggest television drama fan but this show is very well done.

I just finished season 4... I've been hooked since I rented seasons 1 and 2... I can't wait for the 5th and final season to come out. I do believe it is rumored that june will be the month that season 5 starts.

I had kinda drifted away a bit from the series, but I just watched the final 3 episodes of last season...

HOLY F'N INTENSE!!

I'm back hooked again for the final season!

Monday, June 6th.

SIX FEET UNDER 52: A COAT OF WHITE PRIMER
Ruth dreads George's return from the hospital in light of his recent diagnosis; Nate and Brenda prep for a big day, but an emergency makes them reconsider; David and Keith bring up alternative parenting options for discussion; Rico navigates new waters via internet dating; and Claire enjoys domestic bliss, but crosses a line with her camera, inciting an attack from Ruth.

I can hardly wait!

Just a few days til the premiere! I saw an awesome new Six Feet commercial ... I can't wait! :D

I'll actually be able to watch this season (renting gets expensive!) and I must said I'm not excied to watch NAte and Brenda's relationships again. Bren's relationships with that new guy was dysfunctional because SHE'S dysfunctional.. though, as a character, I really don't relate to Nate all that much so I guess I shouldn't really care. :D

im watching season 4 on demand right now... its gonna transition soooo nicely into season 5 on monday. this show is amazing... am i the only one who looks @ death differently now because of 6feet under? it feels cheesy but since i've been watching, i've been far more concious of my own mortality... so far in season 4 the episode where david gets kidnapped is my favorite... prolly my favorite of all the episodes actually... keith nailing celeste was pretty fresh too :D god bless this show *hums theme song*

I don't know if I look at death any differently now, but I do look at the funeral process a lot differently, even though the show if fictitious. I want to be burried like Lisa was!

FINALLY!

WOW! What a fucking premire!

How fucking nuts that billy and claire are going to be shacking up together. and why is she still making those collage/mask mix and match picture things... they suck!! (imo)

brenda and nate look like season two. bren looks like she'll be hooked on pills for most of season five. the conversation between nate and david (before the wedding) was weird, nate sounded like a total lunatic!

I have to go to work. what did everyone else think??

^ Can we please get together sometime for pool and Six Feet discussion? :)

I loved it as well, of course. I was especially impressed by the dinner table conversation at Nate and Brenda's ... a lot of interesting issues were brought up.

fucking awesome premier! they start right off the bat just dropping bombs...i think george's insanity should make for an interesting plot line. i loved they way they showed his descent into madness, made you wonder if it was real or not... top notch.

the scene with david confronting his kidnapper was a little anticlimactic but still good. that guy is such an awesome character (the kidnapper). i dont know what i was expecting from that scene but certainly something more dramatic seeing as how david has been tortured by post traumatic stress since the incident.

do any of you guys think that maya is not actually nate's daughter? that was my initial thought when i saw the season 4 finale. that would be an awesome plot twist. nate's entire world would crumble (yet again).

the only thing that sucks about this being the new season is that i cant watch 1 episode after another... curses!

*hums theme song*

Do you still think maya isn't nate's child? I don't think they could run very far with this idea. f she isn't than that means both of her parents are dead and she would probably be adopted by nate and bren. Or there could be a custody battle between nathan/brenda and barb. I guess this could be possible, it'll be interesting to see what happens.

monday seems so far away!!

Nice kickoff to the new season!

Anybody have any idea what the significance of the seagull on the wedding cake was? I was thinking it was an omen to Nate that there were still unresolved issues involving Lisa (death on the beach, paternity of Maya, etc.), but I missed alot of last season's episodes so I'm not sure if it was a callback to something else.

Some people at thHBO Six Feet forum also think the seagull represents Lisa. A seagull is often a symbol of news from another place, so it could have been Lisa trying to *tell* Nate something.

Rico's date is the receptionist on The Office (US)

i was kinda disappointed that we only got to see bits and pieces of george going crazy, i thought we'd get to see his descent over the course of this season

the ep seemed ok.. it was nice to be watching 6 feet again but it seemed like too much of an obvious "set up the season" episode.. i mean did we have to know everything that was going on with everybody?

i also have this weird feeling that brenda will be used as a surrogate mother for david and keith's kid but thats a pretty bold prediction to make hehe
