Just don't use a fucking screen next time, or simply buy pipe screens from any headshop/tobacconist. Do not use aluminium as a screen, it is very toxic.
 
I've used them before when I was traveling and couldn't find paper. Used a Sherlock style tobacco pipe, I first boiled the screens for a few minutes, than took a torch to them until they became red. No problem at all.

I also got on and off sharp pains in my chest but idk might be anxiety just quit Opiates/Opioids 9th day without any. My paranoia thinks I am fucking butt raping the hell out of the little lung alveolis somehow with these sink faucet screens because this is new to me yet I would rather score more Oxy and Benzodiazepines than get fucking 10$ worth of pipe screens weekly considering I smoke a ton of Cannabis hence/yet I continue to toke my Bong like it is Oxygen underwater lol with these jedi mind trick playing devilish possibly toxic Sink Faucet Customized Pipe Screens!
 
the bowl should get pretty resinated (is that a word? I didnt want to say rezzed out) after like 15-20 bong packs after it gets to that point you dont really need to use a screen if you put a slightly larger bud at the bottom to ensure the hole is almost fully clogged

and depedning on how much of a tolerance you had to opiates you might still be feeling withdrawal symptoms, but if youre talking over a week ago youd have to have an above average habit to still be really feeling the withdrawals

Uhh...really guys? Aluminum is bad for you huh? What is this, fucking 1999? I thought dumb wives tales like this were done being blindly repeated by now. Copper is a HIGHLY toxic metal(when heated), commonly used in plumbing...there is more aluminum in anti-perspirant than you'll get throughout an entire lifetime of smoking from aluminum.

Do you wear anti-perspirant deodorant? Yeah? Guess you're a fucking hypocrite.

And re: alzheimers, correlation =/= causation. Simple stuff, guys. Alzheimers results in excess levels of most metals in the brain, because of an inhibited removal mechanism.

Glass is way better, obviously, but in a pinch Aluminum foil >>> random sink screens.
 
sink screens arent made out of copper

at least every one I've ever used wasnt, they were all stainless steel
 
^ That's great. The point is, he doesn't know what his screens are made of, and since there is the chance that they could be made out of something that can actually kill him or induce organ failure (copper!) aluminum foil is a very sane, safe, and easy harm reduction substitute.
 
Just get the glass or brass smoking screens they sell at tobacco stores and head shops. Don't use a screen from a sink or try to make your own out of tinfoil.
 
Organ failure oH FUCK! Well would a copper a screen look like a different colour than a stainless steel one and anything beside nickel and copper I should like look out for symptoms of? Like hair loss genital pain and man boobies that kinda shit lol.
 
What I find really funny on those dorkorama shows like Intervention (or the likes) is all those idiots tearing a piece of copper choir boy, shovin' it in their stem, loadin' up and puffin' up all those healthy copper fumes !! Hah

For the thread they sell pure nickel made screens at the local paraphernalia shop..
I loved those old nickel pipes you could unscrew & stick a couple buds in the chamber for a month
You could cut the blob-buds into little pieces w/ a razor blade & smoke on em' for an hour straight !

But the best were all the pyrex apparatus's that came out of the high school chemistry rooms

What happens when your heat source gets too hot and starts to literally burn the foil (try a gravity bong session with one aluminum foil screen and get back to me before someone says "IMPOSSIBLE!)? Inhaling burnt metal is no bueno, I don't much care what you compare it to.
 
Well the bowl peace is broken wide open where you pack it so a screen is essential for me. I could always buy another one but my Bong is a broken Roor held together with roofing water proof tape lol just to make the picture more clear.
 
I think it is safe to say if it was Copper I would be dead by now right? What Materials can I look for when I Buy new Sink Faucet Screens that will not murder me the fucking ones at the smoke shop do not even last me more than like smoking a half ounce bit more. I smoked over 3 Ounces in this one Sink Faucet Screen and still strong.

You could try a glass screen from a headshop, but I guess those are mostly meant for hash and other concentrates.
