Okay I need to know if smoking with a screen from your sink faucet would be unsafe? I burned it before using it and it changed a bit to like a blueish rainbow colour until I heated it up fully and it was cherry red now it is just normal colour was that the chrome I burned off or some shit fuck I really need to know if these things are safe or not lol.

I've used them, and i didnt get any funny tastes or sick. But it could be bad for you for all i know, the screens i used were usually brass.

Well I was hoping for a more Scientifically thorough answer than that but thank you.

Never had anything bad happen to me or anyone I know doing the same thing. Then again I'm sure sink faucet screens come in different materials, so YMMV.

If you do decide to use the sink screen, make sure you at least burn it till its redhot to burn off bacteria etc.

yeah man they are ok. I have a huge bowl with one in it. Think about it though, they have to be atleast somewhat safe because drinking water goes through it lol but i know what you mean about burning it being different but they are safe if its like every regular on in the usa.

Thank you for the replies and Captain.Heroin these are like way cheaper than actual pipe screens from a store which I can not afford daily but I can sink faucet screens haha.

I wonder how much your pockets'll be hurting when you realize your home's no longer got a properly working faucet and you have to shell out a few bucks to replace what you've taken. Smoke screens are cheap as hell compared to plumbing utilities/accessories, but it should take a little while and a few raids before you get to the point of weaponized jet streams coming out of your sink.

Sounds like you've been bent over by the plumber before.Sink screens are like $5 max lol

Just as a heads up, copper is highly toxic to smoke out of, as are metals containing even trace amounts of nickel...I wouldn't do this in a million years.

How hard is it to poke a few holes in aluminum foil and throw that in your bowl?

OH SHIT if you told me this fucking earlier I would of thrown them in the garbage and got one from the store but wtf I already like smoked A LOT enough for the thought am I going to die from this?

^ I'm pretty sure copper poisoning, especially through inhalation, is the kind of thing that you would definitely notice by now, so you probably don't have copper screens.

Regardless, I would use aluminum foil until you can get some real screens...

If you can afford $5 for faucet screens, you can afford $0.75 for a pack of smoke screens. It's kind of sad that you missed that obvious point and instead jumped to the one that would make me look like an ass. I hope I'm not just reading into it too much but yeah...

Probably, but fuck it, though.... I mean, we all gotta go some time, right? Might as well thin the herd before it's too late...

The stores in Canada only sell screens for like a bit under 3$ for 5 of them I think and they do not last long before they burn away..... Sink Faucet and kitchen skillets can last for a month but that could be from being made of toxic shit?

Anyway to know if the screens have nickel in them any certain Brands to Buy that might be toxic Free and safe to smoke out of?

FUUUUCK talk about living with paranoia and anxiety LOOOL! How can I find out the materials any common Brand Names that might list them on a website somewhere somebody might know?

I haven't used a screen in years. Glass tastes better and is easier to clean. Although back in the day I did have the folks wondering what happened to ALL of the faucets...
