But uan, I can admit when I'm wrong, and I do let other people voice their opinions, rather than chucking a blanket over the whole matter because "I'm right and everyone elses opinion doesn't count" that's just fucking stupid

^^^ hahahahah

Yeah i don't see the issue with being single (today haha).

Especially since it's Friday - weekly day of mischief and accidental adventure.

I cant say I have been at the receiving end of a long term relationship dumpage but being dumped after a fling is bad enough- yeah the whole "Im better than you anyway" thing is a defense mechanism. Its funny how someones "cute quirks" when you're together become major flaws when its over.

I'm not sure what you mean by the second sentence...
Was saying that if my expectations are too high, aka 'too big for my boots' then you'd expect me to be aiming for girls out of my league and getting knocked back. Which i havnt (not that i hit on many girls mind you).

Ive had mutual breakups but no dumpage. Maybe if i did i would get off my high horse?

Is 'independent, emotionally secure, funny, chilled out, super model, theoretical physicist, artist' really such a hard ask?

Well then you should've probably admitted right about here, that yes UAN, I see your point - no, not everyone see's things as I do?

... alternatively, you could dispose of UAN's opinion, and instead try to convince her that what she said isn't in-line with what you believe. Even after UAN says she finds Doppelganger good at explaining herself, you could try to convince her that you, yourself, are actually much more reasonable.

Which sounds a bit like "I'm right and everyone else's opinion doesn't count" from where I sit ;).

its Friday the 13th!! Everyone is going mad..Ill be out back howling at the moon and picking fleas out of my mane. :\

omg

i haven't had a girlfriend or sex and i am 19, i am pretty weird though

^ i was in the same boat man, chillax
however, if you don't get a gf/have sex before 20, i officially beat you

I have a question, oh thee of the Aus Social singles thread. I dont go out on official dates that often and rarely ask anyone to go out with me. Its just not my bag, man :D

So if I just happen to find someone I actually want to get to know better and ask them to lunch and they respond "I really cant that day, can we raincheck?"- is that a polite translation for

"Fuck off dickhead, I wouldnt touch you with a ten foot pole let alone spend my precious time eating lunch with a pig like you"

or is it

"I have got something on already, can we make it another time" for real?

Because I have given the polite brush off to not hurt the feelings of the guy before but never said anything like "another time", just "Im busy" with no rescheduling.

I think I would have prefered the "get fucked" version if it is the case as at least I know hes not interested.

Bah this is too hard!:D

Zephyr, he wouldnt have rainchecked if he wasnt interested:) If he keeps on rainchecking id say its a brush off but if he seems keen on meeting up again then id say his interested
