My friends and I always thought that it was 'language of the niche' but then, what you have said sounds more plausible.

Bigtrance, voodoochilli and co - its definatly "language of nature". the fib. sequence is the sum of the previous 2 numbers in the sequence. Useless info I know, but hey....
I think the sample is from Pi (the symbol), a film at Darren Aronofski (ok, I can't spell it) - its a trip all by itself (and very good sound track if you like DnB and Hardcore)

I thought of another one from Futurama where they're walking through a bad part of town and there's this junkie looking guy in an alleyway putting money into a dispensing machine.. like the food ones they have around. As it cuts to a closer shot.. he presses the buttons and the 'Heroin' thing goes to eject a little vial.. but as the curly thing turns.. it catches on the end and gets stuck there.. and the junkie hits the machine and groans..
now.. that's satire!

yet another one:
when bart orders lisa some speed pills with a stolen credit card. Lisa later finds out that the credit card bart used was stolen and tells him about it and bart goes "you're getting paranoid from all those stimulant pills" and then lisa gets really speedy paranoid!
