Simple Question - What Size Cotton For IV Filtering??

I'm always curious as to what size of rolled up cotton people use? I use Q-tip and rolled up tight to the size off a bb before throwing into my spoon. Is that enough or should I be using a little more cotton? Any tips are appreciated.

When I was using dope I used both sides of a Q-tip rolled up, either that or approximately 1/8th of a cigarette filter rolled up maybe more maybe less but really it depends on your personal preferences some people use just a tiny tiny bit of cotton and some use lots and lots and then some in between...it's really up to you

Here is an article about the efficiency of different filters.

If you are using a cotton then I think that the tighter you roll it the better it will work, so I would use a bigger piece and roll it tightly. It's best to use a micron filter though, and if you cotton filter you should do it twice.

A BB sounds right, unless you're dealing with obviously cut-heavy drugs....Never even seen a micron filter myself...They seem to be the way to go though!
