Hi all,
I hope this is posted in the right place and I apologise if it is a bit of a simple question, but I have seen comments in regards to various chemicals regarding whether it is in freebase form or not etc.
For example in regardings to ethylphenidate - I saw a comment asking if the powder was freebase or hcl form? How would I know, or determine this? If I take a look at supplier X - EPH is listed as Ethylphenidate Powder and also Ethylphenidate Crystal. On the description it states CAS#: 19716-79-1 (.hcl) so I obviously assuming this is hcl form and not freebase??
Would there be any other way to tell by visual appearance alone or testing?
Thanks for the help.
