simple chemistry math ?

can anyone point me to a website, or just tell me etc, all i want to know is how to...

lets say i have some dmt freebase, i can get the molecular weight of dmt (or anything), and i want to make a salt of dmt, phosphate or whatever. how do i figure out the math so i know how much acid to add to make the salt, without adding too much etc.

i could dump some dmt in distilled water and keep adding acid little by little and check the ph, but i'd just like to know how to figure it out . also then figure out how much dmt phosphate, acetate, furamate, hcl etc, in milligrams is equal to dmt freebase (or any other molecules/salts here).

i think the question about converting freebase -> salt dosages is relevant to harm reduction. they have an example for converting doses of mescaline freebase to various salts on erowid:
