Ok

Three different logoed pills, all turned purple with the Marquis (? spelling).

No change for any of them with the Simons test, did two drops of Simons and then three of buffer. The only change was the colour of the actual scrapings to black I think.

The pills were consumed by myself and other people and no problems. So can anyone tell me the problem with my Simons? It is meant to change colour unless there's dodgy stuff isn't it?

Any help would be appreciated.

My guess would be that you're getting MDA and not really noticing the difference. Either that or your Simon's has gone off.

^^^ It would be unusual to get three different types of pills which were all MDA rather than MDMA wouldn't it?

I've only had the test kit about 2 months and it's done its thing previously when I had a speed pill.

maybe it got contaminated or one of the ingredients evaporated due to insufficient closing of the bottle. but mda is another possibility, maybe you can try it again with something you know has to react? i.e. some speed?

Not really, if you live in the US. Checked out the results at ecstasydata.org lately?

Easy E, is there a household product which should react with Simon's to see if it's still working, like there is with Marquis and Mecke?

I dunno... I'll look into this, maybe someone else on the board here has an idea? but then again, simons has some acetaldehyde in it which is very volatile, although i have some really old bottles here that still work fine.
